Just okay
I wouldn’t play here unless everywhere else was booked up, but it was fine
Still early in the year
The course is rather brown and the grass needs to start growing as it was hard to find much grass on some of the fairways. Some of the greens need help with bare spots, which they've sanded. Greens are difficult to read as there is a lot of undulation. Sand is in good shape and full. Some great views on the holes around the lake. Hole 18 is a fun, challenging par 3 over water to a well guarded green. Staff was very friendly.
Holiday crowd
Busy but good pace,
Everything ok for this time of year.
Most improved
This course is by far the most improved course in the area.
This is the second time I’ve played it. The greens went from being almost unplayable to being excellent.
The layout is interesting and challenging. Great bargain in the area.
Perfect day in November for some golf
It has been probably thirty years since I played at Pine Lake. Living out of state, it has been a place I have wanted to go back to for years. The course layout seemed to be the same. Course was in good condition despite a lack on rain for more than a month. Upgrades to the clubhouse including an excellent restaurants and GPS carts were noticeable upgrades. The only reviews that did not get excellent were pace of play and course conditions. Neither are a strike against the course. We were a twosome behind two groups of four with new golfers. The course is doing the best it can again, with a lack of rain. I definitely will be back. For the price, the value can't be beat.
Nice location with scenic view of a lake. Course is in good condition and is a great value.
Great for the money
Some of the greens are better than I’ve ever seen them and then several on the back nine are pretty bad. 2 greens were pretty much unplayable. Otherwise course is awesome! Great new carts with gps!
