Pine lakes is nice
Every Friday a group of 5 or 6 play snail crap speed and back up play.
Aerating greens
I had played this course before and it was in good shape. It’s a wide open course which is great for novice players. However, this time they were aerating the greens and they were very sandy. I wish the course would have indicated this before booking.
The course was in terrible shape. Almost all the greens were dirt, punched or dead. Not much grass to hit from out of fairways. The course has potential if someone could sink some money into it.
One of the worst kept courses in this part of South Carolina
Greens are pretty much half sand and half weeds. The fairways are all weeds almost no grass. I guess at least it was cut pretty short. Played here about a month ago and the course was pretty similar condition, but greens even worse now even though it’s prime season for keeping a course clean. Simply avoid this course even though it’s cheap.
Embarrassing Course Conditions
Unleveled tee boxes, Ball is above or below your feet on most tee shots, Fairways are comprised of long leaf weeds that are cut short,, several greens barely had any grass which makes putting nearly impossible. If you’re looking to go out & knock some balls around. A hot deal rate is acceptable. No way on earth should one pay full rate for this course. There’s many other well maintained courses in the area for only a fraction more than this course’s full rates.
Country Course
Greens in very bad shape
Cart part needs paving immediately.
So tight, you are afraid of getting hit.
Ace on #5
FIRST ACE IN ABOUT 13 YEARS OF PLAYING. #5 FROM 176. USING MIZUNO HOT METAL JPX 921 AND A SRIXON Z STAR BALL. LOVE THIS COURSE FOREVER!!!!!!
Ace on #5 from 176 with a Mizuno hot metal 7 iron
Course was ok. Greens a little beat up. But #5 was beautiful. So beautiful in fact that this here guy Zachary Timms aced it from 176 with a Mizuno 923 hot metal 7 iron using a srixon z star #2.
Terrible.
For $42 on the weekend I really expected better greens atleast something you could putt on but the 3 ft bobble made that impossible. Greens should’ve been mowed 2 days ago hard pan everywhere. Just trying to save somebody else from waiting money. I’d drive a hour in any other direction and pay for any other tee time than go back here. I get it they have a nice restaurant and all but Jesus don’t forget the real reason most people are there and for $42 I expected to play a golf course and be able to have good rolling putts
Hate to bash a course but..
Hate to bash a golf course anytime but this place was absolutely terrible the greens haven’t been cut since last year they are dead not very receptive but the best part is you can hit all the bumpy bouncy putts you wanna play. The restaurant wasn’t terrible just took forever to get service before the round and durning the turn. The first tee was so crowded over booking is terrible. They got my $40 for the first and last time today. The course educate was terrible we had people playing out of and across our fairways all day long. Either be a restaurant business or take care of the golf course but we see what way that’s headed. I’ll spend my money just trying to help somebody else the same. Just TERRIBLE
Playing there again
Great golf course. Greens a little rough, otherwise, course in great shape for winter conditions. Fun to play, challenging but fair. Looking forward to playing there again.
Good Course for the Price
This course is great for new golfers and or those looking for golf on a budget. Course layout only has water on 18th hole and was in pretty good shape. If you aren’t used to the type of grass they have on greens then it’s a challenge to read them. Only real complaint I have is they overbooked by a lot.
Was a bit put off by the guy in the clubhouse
I was 50 minutes early for my tee time since I like to use the putting green, especially being my first time playing the course. Upon checking in I was advised “you’re a bit early!!” With some serious attitude. Not a great first impression.
