The Landing at Pleasant Point

Second year of operation under new management. The course is a little rough around the edges, but it boasts a nice layout and is easy to play. With a little more maturity, this will be a little gem in the Hilton Head area. A little out of the way, but not a bad place to play, Wildlife in abundance.

The course is in really bad shape

Was not expecting a great course for that price point. Greens are no longer greens understand the course is under new management with some improvements in the future. Would not play again.

My son and I played a round. It was a great price. They are working on the course with new sand in bunkers and 2 greens under repair. It’s a good course for a beginner. Don’t expect it to be in great shape. Just enjoy a day of golf at a great price.

I’ve been playing this course for years, and I must say it has truly never looked as good as it does now. Since September 2022, there have been new bunkers added, sprinklers repaired, and the greens are looking great. The maintenance efforts have improved tremendously this year, and the course looks better every time I play.

This course suffers from a serious lack of money. An hours drive from Hilton Head, I wanted to save some dough with the good price. For me, I had fun because I don't care too much about course conditions. Two greens were undergoing renovation, and the grass in the fairway was sparse. Greens were bumpy put playable. Good traps and sand! Great layout and scenic views -- just don't expect to get more than you pay for.

A shame that such a great layout and piece of property is so poorly maintained. It’s typically been in average condition but it is barely playable at this point. They have no equipment at this time to maintain the course. Hopefully things will change but I would not recommend playing at this time

Upon arriving at the course we found that the (now previous owner) has left the place in a shambles. Removed all record keeping devices, cleared all refreshment items, removed flooring, and other items. This course will now be managed by the Homeowners Association in an attempt to restore the course and the business as a whole. Do not send any money to this course as it will not be received there - it is fraud.

This course is advertised as one of the best. But I say not so fast! Greens have more sand than grass. The fairways have been cut to the same length as the rough making play very challenging. The management and staff of this course are the once ruining one of the best designed courses in the region. When you walk in to the club house to share any feedback as a paying custom the staff was more interested their conversation with a non paying dog walker. Ignorance and arrogance they go hand in hand from the management to the staff.

This is one of the worst courses i've ever played. Everywhere where there is grass its overgrown. The rest of the course is just dirt. The greens are the worst ever. Its a shame that it's in such bad shape because it could be fun.

Greens have been aerated, seeded and sanded, not really in playable shape.
