Rose Hill Golf Club

About
Rose Hill Golf Club in Bluffton is situated amongst plentiful live oaks draped with Spanish moss. There are also sparkling, crystal-clear lakes that come into play on several holes. The golf course is a part of Rose Hill Plantation, giving it a truly Southern look and feel. Most of the holes are flat and straightforward but there are a few tricky doglegs to keep the course interesting. The layout features formidable par 3s that will test even the best players and a notably difficult par 5 that measures just over 600 yards. The challenging holes are balanced with player-friendly features that make it versatile enough for a wide range of skill levels. Four sets of tees, the longest coming to just over 6,900 yards, make Rose Hill Golf Club even more accessible.

Rose Hill Continues to Improve
The course was in good condition, especially the greens. The ruff was very punitive particularly due to the excessive amount of dead leaves. The leaves were also problematic in several fairways. That is an area for improvement.
Massive Improvements
Played in the afternoon 11-21-24. Tees and fairways are good. Greens are great. Grounds crew was out working on problem areas but were very accommodating to players coming through. Played here 2 years ago and the place was a wreck. The improvements are outstanding. Mark, Marilyn, and Ron are fantastic. $60 weekdays is a good deal. Highly recommend. Great job coming back to life Rose Hill.
Silveria Review
I had not played this course for 30 years as back then it was not so good. I know there is new ownership and my wife and I wanted to play it. We were very happy with the course conditions and lay out of holes that were interesting and challenging. I think the value is great and the staff was very friendly. I am actually a member of SPCC but enjoy playing courses around the area and I will be back to Rose Hill. Also, the greens were very true and fast the way I like them. Give it a try and I don't feel you will be disappointed. Have fun!
Nice helpful people
Nice course. Good to play for new players and more experienced. We had fun.
Slow
Paid for 18 holes, but quit after 9 because it took us three hours! Ridiculously slow play.
Affordable - Challenging - Friendly
Rose Hill is a nice neighborhood course with just enough challenge to keep it interesting. The layout and flow from hole to hole is walkable too. . You do hear the traffic on a few holes, but that’s part of the challenge. Gas powered cart did make for a hot seat. Cannot playing what that would be like in the heat of August.
Need to fix/improve: bumpy cart path-hang on to your boobs ladies (the day we played it was COO). Tee box grass is very sparse. Greens and approaches were just ok. Removing a few trees may help with growing grass in overly shady areas.
The updated clubhouse is welcoming and beautiful. Beware of overpriced drink costs if you are not a member. 9$ for a beer??? Good service though.
Better condition
Course conditions have improved since the last time I played
Good value for HHI
Good value. Fairways lack grass, but wasn’t horrible. Very good pace of play.
TH
Many of the holes are very long for an older senior golfer that does not hit the ball very far. The course itself is in very good condition, but the play was exceedingly slow in front of me.
good course for high handicap players
Fairly wide open fairways with 1st cut short enough you didn't loose balls. Course was dry so got good roll. very few forced carry situations. Windy fall day so enjoyed downwind holes
