Featuring two of Tom Fazio's most impressive designs, the Belfair Golf Club stands out amongst private clubs in the Hilton Head golf scene.
"Belfair is the ultimate in golf. It's Shadow Creek quality," Fazio has said of the club. "I'd stake my reputation on the fact that Belfair is as good as any golf course you will ever see or play."
The West course came first, and Fazio was immediately rehired for the East course. Each course offers its own challenge, but Fazio worked with the natural landscape to ensure that both courses would have the ambiance of its location. Each features grandiose pines, marshland and native grasses.

Tough but fair
The west course at belfair that hosted the PGA in April is something special ! The course is in beautiful condition and greens were rolling quick! The course has great water view s and marsh setting as well as Laverne lake along par 5 12 th hole each hole has a special feel to it and the overall layout is worth playing!
Low Country golf at it's finest
A round I won't forget in a while. Epitomizes what low-country golf is all about - finishing holes all along the marsh/sound. Beautiful! Course was in impeccable shape. Southern hospitality on full display. The PGA guys are in for a treat next year for the '19 Nat'l Champ.
Spectacular
Among if not the best in a 40 mile radius of HHI.
If you can get on, you must. It's excellent in all regards. The clubhouse and grill room is off the charts great.
Excellent turf, great layout, plenty of length, great tee box options, sight lines are good so swing with confidence, great scenery, fast pace of play, lightening fast greens, best practice facility ever, just not a single thing that can be said negatively about the West course, it's that good. Go see for yourself.
GREAT course
This is one of my favorite courses any where!! This is just a great layout!!!! The back nine is outstanding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
