About
Crescent Pointe Golf Club in Bluffton is Arnold Palmer's only public course in the area. It is conveniently located just a few minutes west of the bridge leaving Hilton Head Island. Opened in 2000, the course has quickly gained a reputation as being one of the Lowcountry's best. Sprawling across a lush landscape blanketed with century-old oaks and towering pines, the layout is as scenic as it is challenging. While the generous fairways may be player friendly, the difficult approaches to the elevated, well bunkered greens are anything but. The large, pristine white sand bunkers were designed in true Palmer-style, closely following the natural undulations of the land. The gently rolling terrain is unique for the area. Crescent Pointe Golf Club's elevation changes aren't dramatic but they do provide some subtle, but tricky undulations in the greens that make it hard to find a flat lie.

Average conditions, slow pace of play
First time playing here in over 10 yrs and the course needs some TLC, greens were good, but the tee boxes and many fairways were not in very good condition, pace play was really slow, most holes had 3 groups on them, for nearly $90 this was disappointing.
Cheaper Hilton Head option
I played this course on my visit to Hilton Head. Good value if you are looking for a cheaper price point. Course is tight. Fairways and greens were in good shape and the layout was interesting. Would play again.
Great course for the price!
We have been playing this course on vacation for the past 10 years. It was good…went down hill… and now coming back. Great value for the price. Challenging course. Will definitely continue to go back.
Conditions not yet there
The fairways were all in good condition but nearly all tee boxes and traps need work as well as some greens. Overall improving but not there yet.
Dirty Car Needing A Wash-Inside and Out
Course just needs the Basics. Consistent Fairways and Rough Cutting. Get rid of the weeds in the Fairways, Edge out the Bunkers, Pump the water out of the Bunkers, Tee Box Work. Course Design is Great, bring this place back to life. Great and Friendly Staff

Great corse all around. They did have some ground under repair on the greens but other than that I had a great time would recommend.
Good course
Course was very fun to play. Driving range was nice. Layout was challenging. Greens were rolling really well. A few spots they’re getting to heal in the greens, but overall in great shape.

It is not an easy course, but let's you play if fairly straight from 6000 yard
Coming along..
With Summer approaching and the season changed up. The golf course is in very good shape. A few hiccups on the green but not too bad overall very good. Staff is extremely professional and helpful.
Better than the past
We are part time residents of Hilton Head Island and I've played Crescent Pointe e every time we're at our condo, so probably 6 times a year over the past 6 years. I have to say this is the best condition I have seen this course. It has improved tremendously. Great layout, fairways are in good shape and the greens are also in good shape. Great views and a good challenging course. Highly recommend checking it out.
Had a Great Time
Staff was fantastic. Well worth the price. Course is challenging. In good shape. Pace of play was great. GPS / golf range finders on the carts were top of the line. Would definitely recommend.
