Beautiful golf course, the ball sits up well everywhere you hit it. Nice approaches to the well kept greens, and look very nice, love to play again.
Never played!
FYI! I showed up at this course while GolfNow took my money in advance. There was no starting time, and the course said they DO NOT work with Golf Now. 2 calls to Golf Now seeking a refund has resulted in me being placed on hold for over an hour with no one picking up the phone.
Best Military Base Course! Fantastic Greens!
I can't rave enough about the high quality of the greens! I was able to throw darts at the pins and they stopped on a dime. Great value on the Hotdeal only $24 plus tax/fees. Driving range and practice area was in great condition. A great chance to get a few swings in before the 2024 WLD competition @ Fort Jackson. A+ will definitely be back!
Wildcat - Thursday 10:33am Tee Time
The Wildcat course was in great shape. Both fairways and greens in excellent condition. Probably one of the better courses in the Columbia area right now. Great conditions for the price!
A fine experience
You stop at the main gate of Fort Jackson to get a pass into the base. Takes 15-20 minutes. Then off to a very nice course, played the Wildcat course, in good shape, w friendly staff, well kept greens, and a rolling setting thru the pines, not unlike Augusta. Go and have fun.
Need US or International driver license
Due is a military property, the car driver must have a US or International driver's license to drive inside the facilities.
Ft Jackson is the best value in town
Wildcat is an excellent test for an average golfer from the Blue tees. Has some good scoring holes and some very challenging. If you are driving the ball well, pars are in your favor.
Wildcat really delivers every shot
1st time and won't be the last. Played the tips and it is all you want and some. Lots of variety of skill level and challenge. Has more elevation change than you would expect so several interesting holes to navigate.
Quite and Beautiful
The Course is inside Ft. Jackson alongside Wildcat. If you can Par this Course, you can beat the Pros anywhere in the World. Challenging layout with a Beautiful quite surrounding.
Great value for the money
Wildcat is a great layout and get to hit a variety of shots and each hole has a nice challenge for a fairly good golfer to work through.
Great Course. Very well maintained.
Played the Wildcat. Excellent in every way. Just the right challenge level for me (intermediate golfer). Fairways and greens were in mint conditions. Friendly staff. The only thing was the pace of play, which was a bit slow on the day.
Very Nice course layout and Practice Facilities
FT Jackson golf club has 2 18 hole courses, Wildcat the one I played on Nov 5th was in good condition especially the greens but not quite worth the price of 48. Some of the best practice facilities around Columbia with multiple putting greens and a pitching area in the back of the driving range.
