Fort Mill Golf Club

Loved the course, looking forward to playing it when it greens up.

Played with my son and a guy named Barry on a nice February 74 degree winter day. Greens were very good and course had a player fairness layout. Par 4is are very long but wide open. Staff was very professional and friendly.

Haven't played here in a few years but do like it. The greens seemed much better than I remember.

First off, let me say that I do like the course. However, this is a course I will keep in mind during Winter months when turnout is low. If you plan to get when it is 65+ degrees out, you better tell your wife you'll see her later tonight. Pace of play is HORRIBLY SLOW. While most of this is due to golfers, I blame the course a lot for this. You should not be letting multiple groups of walkers off in front of people with carts. You should also spread your tee times out to 8-10 minutes. Not 6. I have never seen a traffic jam of golf carts on a golf course until today. Very frustrating to have to wait ON EVERY SINGLE SHOT. No exaggeration.

The course is OK, but the pro-shop personnel is rude, obnoxious, and offensive...to the point when I was checking in, the person behind the desk practically threw my (Golf Now) receipt and confirmation of tee-time back at me. Then, when we tried to explain that we had a foursome, he became beiligerent...almost hostile, and began an argument with my guest. Finally, two of my playing partners said, we're not spending our hard earned money and be insulted by this individual, and they left, vowing "never to return"...BAD EXPERIENCE!

Second time playing this course. Probably will play again soon. Greens were great. Just don't drink too much. No facility on course. 18th green surrounded by practice green & driving range tee box.

Play was extremely slow. Otherwise this is a very good course. Green were very good. In fact course maintenance overall was very good

Course sub-standard, greens sandy, and teaching pro far over-rated

The course was in great shape for this time of year. Greens are tough. My one and only complaint was with the Starter. We arrived 45 mins before our scheduled tee time to allow us time to warm up and get a little practice. The Starter put us with another 2-some 35 mins before our scheduled tee time not allowing us time to warm up. He was very rude about it. The gentleman we played with said he used to be a member but quit due to the rudeness of the staff. I concurred.

This is a 'nice' course to play, but it is SO overpriced compared to the rest of the Spring's courses.

Springfield is a LOT nicer than FM. I signed up on the email list for the Spring's courses. I receive a Free round of golf for Lancaster, Chester and Fort Mill for my birthday. Lancaster & Chester honored the round. FM didn't !! They only took off the cart fee. That is NOT what the email indicates and they couldn't fix it. Fort Mill has snobby golfers and even the starter has attitude. I play quite often and understand the rules very well. I know to keep pace and be there at my tee time. Several other courses in the area I will play at before I play FM. I'd like to enjoy a round without all the issues and attitudes they have.

I love this course. The greens are always great. The front 9 is Ross so you know its gonna be tough to score on. It was a cold day buy i still managed to play pretty well considering. I always enjoy a round here and am actually mulling over joining when it gets warmer.

Nice course with friendly staff and well kept greens. Appears they overbooked. Round took 5 hours as we had to wait on every hole. Hoping this was because it was Black Friday and a holiday weekend

This course has always been one of my favorites. The greens where in amazing shape very smooth and super fast. Would definitely recommended this course to anyone. P. S. the golf pro Marc LaPointe is a phenomenal instructor.
