Booked a T time with Cart. As we arrived with son, mgr at course, demanded we pay extra $40.00 for cart fees.

Terrible mgt. Do not recommend. 90% of people walk course which slows play

Greens BUMPY - still with tons of aeration holes from 2 weeks ago.....WHY?

The Golf Course is in fairly good shape considering all the rain we have had. The course is challenging and makes you pay attention to shot placement as most courses do. I am not a long hitter, but it's tough for me to get on the green in 2 shots on most par 4 holes. But that keeps it challenging for me at the same time. Love playing at this course! The staff is very helpful and friendly.

Foursome behind me called ProShop to complain I was too slow

I had two foursomes in front of me so I had nowhere to go

We finished 18 holes in EXACTLY 4 hours

If that's too slow, then go play one time in NY to see what a slow round really is

Greens were amazing compared to just last week.

I was VERY happy to see such quick improvement.

I am NOT easy to impress but you guys did it.

Course is in good shape. Covid-19 precautions are in place but not detracting from the round. Behind 2 foursomes that were walking and still finished in 3 hours.

So glad to see Springs Golf back in action but I must say, after being shut down for an entire month, I expected to see the course in fantastic condition - it was not.

Greens on the front 9 were very bad and some of the fringes had more weeds than grass. Bunkers were poor but most courses are like that during COVID

Hope to see quick improvement next week since I have Fort Mill booked every day!

First time player; I enjoyed the layout and the greens were in great shape (a little quick). Please know there is ongoing irrigation work and some holes impacted.

My brother and I played this course in the 90’s with our dad. Always liked it. It was a little dry and hard in places even with all of the rain we have had. Especially for this early in the season. Nice challenging course.

Greens rolling great, fairways starting to grow out a little, should be in fantastic shape in a few weeks. Always love playing here, highly recommended for everyone!

Used all aspects of my game. Not too difficult but a fun course

The course was in outstanding condition tee-to-green the greens were rolled smoothly and speedy, pace of play was great and the staff was fantastic!! If you haven't played it or it's been a while I strongly recommend this golf course to anybody who enjoys a challenging course as well as great value for your money.

Fort Mill is very similar to Monroe Country Club: both were originally nine hole layouts designed by the great Donald Ross, and both had new designers add a second nine later. In this case George Cobb created a second nine holes that meanders through the woods and the neighborhood. It's nothing like the compact, classic Donald Ross front nine with his signature undulating turtleback greens. I found the front nine to be the better of the two, despite the simple hole design. There are a couple quirky holes on the back.

Still, it's a nice semi-private club feel here and definitely worth their reasonable rates. Nice practice facilities and clubhouse as well. I wish they'd space the tee times out longer than 8 minutes though; it made play back up numerous times and we waited on the vast majority of shots. Be prepared for a long round here, but it's a good test of short game on the front and shot making on the back.
