Played here many times, always a challenge. Little wet, very windy but still a nice round. Pro David Gies is a class act and very accommodating!

Go visit Dave Geis and His team. This is an awesome course. Never gets boring!

Couse was a little wet which is normal in the winter.

Lots of players so it took 4 hours and 40 minutes to complete the round

Course was in great shape for the time of year, workers out there blowing leaves keeping the course clean. Great experience.

Donald Roos would be ashamed at the condition of a course that bares his name.

Great staff, making sure you have a good golf experience. Front 9 design by Donald Ross, grabs your attention. Even par through the first 3 holes is a huge accomplishment. Good test of your ability. The course is well maintained.

I play this course with senior men’s group on most Thursdays. Nice course to walk and normally pretty good shape fairways and greens. Driving range tee area is getting a little rough this year but great chipping and sand trap practice area. Nice sitting area for refreshments and sandwich after the round. Good value.

My friend and I were so impressed by this course. Everything surpassed our expectations! I read some reviews about Fort Mill GC on Google and I was a bit sceptical. The first thing we saw was the fleet of beautiful new ELECTRIC golf carts. Then things only got better : registration was smooth and efficient with plenty of staff to assist us. We started on-time and even on a busy day, play moved along with little waiting between shots. The Donald Ross layout on the front felt like Carolina CC or Myers Park CC. The back was good too with an interesting layout with tight tree-lined fairways. The greens were firm, and fast, and true. Fairways and traps were in good shape (I was in 4 traps!). The tee boxes showed some wear due to the traffic the course gets. Frankly, any condition issues were more a result of player negligence than course maintenance. Golfers should fix ball marks, fill divots and rake traps. If you haven't played Fort Mill yet, give it a try - you won't be disappointed.

Mid October but course in great shape and weather perfect

I have the good fortune to live 3 miles from the course. I’m very sad to say that I only played the course twice in 7 years up until this past June when I joined the Fort Mill Men’s Golf Association which is based out of this course. Not only is the course well maintained, but having such an incredible group of guys playing there on a regular basis has been great. I’ve been able to meet new people while also rebuilding my golf game. The course also has a teaching facility with PGA professionals ready to help you with your game. I really can’t say enough good things about this course. They’ve built a community that is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced!

Disappointing conditions based on the price. Greens were decent but a lot of bad spots on fairways and tee boxes. Could hardly get the tee in because tee boxes were hard as a rock!!

Why don’t you water tee boxes?!! Bar only has light beer, no selection.

With all the courses in the Charlotte area, I would go somewhere else next time.

I'm a member at this course and it's a great value as a member. Course is usually in good shape in the late spring, summer, and fall months. The greens are always healthy but would love to see them cut lower and sped up, they are on the slow side throughout most of the year. Same thing with the fairways. Flyer lies are common from the fairway because they are not cut that low. Again they are healthy and in good shape but could definitely be improved from that standpoint

Fort Mill is a really good track. The staff is excellent at Fort Mill, very friendly and willing to go the extra mile. This course is in really good shape overall. The things I notice when playing here is: sand traps are inconsistent, some have lots of fluffy sand and others have almost none, leaking sprinkler heads that create mud spots in fairways and green side, greens are in great shape but roll slow, and the one that I don't get, a bare spot 3ft x 3ft behind 9 green bunker?? This spot is there every time I play the course. These are small things that keeps Fort Mill from being an excellent course and from getting a 5 star rating.
