I probably would not play here again on my next trip. The greens were a bit slow but they were mostly in good shape. There are some fun holes but overall it is just so so, fairways and rough were not great and OB on just about every hole. We played liberal rolls and treated OB like a red stake, taking the stroke penalty but not distance. Overall not terrible but a little pricey for the conditions. Meadowlands is a better deal and probably best condition of our courses played.

Beautifully designed same course as I played 30 years a go

If you want to play somewhere off the beaten path and away from the jammed Grand Strand golf courses, this one is a bit of a drive but well worth it. Plenty of water on the front nine to make things interesting. As others have said the course is slowly getting back into shape and once a little more work is done this will be an excellent course. Staff was very pleasurable and we would come back to play this course again. We were met almost immediately when we pulled in and greeted with a golf cart right at our car to load up our stuff. No searching around or hunting for a cart or where to go when we got there. That was a wonderful thing right off the bat! Thanks for a great time overall!

In town for vacation and chose to play at Wedgefield CC this morning and am glad that I did! Thought that the course was in great condition to include the greens, fairways and tee boxes. Some challenging water placement if you aren’t familiar with the course. The staff could not have been more welcoming and friendly. Beautiful course - highly recommend playing here.

Loaded with southern charm, great layout, super friendly. Greens were in good, shape, fairways and tee blocks still need some work. But overall great challenge course

What a great track. Needed every club in the bag and had to think your way around the course. Greens were in good shape. This course is a fantastic value. Can’t wait to see what it’s like in a year. Definite replay!

I did not know that the course had been closed for 2 years. It is in extremely poor condition. I could see where they were starting to repair but I would not play again as it was expensive even for a great course. Needs at least 2 to 3 years to start to come around.

Greens, sand traps and tee boxes were in great shape. Fairways were a little skinny in places. It's early and just getting into growing season. Course superintendent stated they were getting ready to work on the fairways. I plan on playing this course again. Would totally recommend this course!
