24 Kansas City guys

Staff was very accommodating and cart guys were extremely helpful. This is a hidden gem in myrtle beach and is one of the favorites of the group. Most of us have been coming to Myrtle for 25 years and you usually get what you paid for. We paid a pretty price, but it was well worth it. They only take limited amount of golfers so hopefully we can get on again.

Beautiful Property

Wachesaw Plantation Club golf course meanders through a beautiful residential neighborhood as part of a planned golf community. The houses surrounding the property were beautiful, and the golf course fits the bill. The property is heavily wooded and nearly every hole is framed with trees, however, it's mostly aesthetic as you have plenty of room to land tee shots. I played in mid-June and the course was perfectly green throughout. The greens were damp due to our weather but were running smooth and still about 9+ on the stimp. Overall, a beautiful property and highly recommended.

P T Barnum

P. T. Barnum is alive & we'll and operating the Waccesaw a East Plantation Golf Course. I know. I am one of the suckers. The circus starts with the sign advertising Golf Course of the Year 2007. Reality Check: it is 2016. Take down the sign and put one up depicting the horrific course conditions. The fairways were a saturated, muddy mess. I am sure this was the distracting strategy used to get you to ignore the 16 unplayable greens. If you want to use the coffee shop, don't get an early tee time. The opening time is flexible depending on the staff whims. The only way to eradicate this circus is to take our money to the dozens of other courses on he Grand Strand. However, if you want to see an impersonation of a golf course, Mr. Barnum will be happy to welcome you to the Big Top. He will be the one holding his hand out taking your hard earned money.

This course is a great design and good finishing holes.

Hot weather caused the greens to stress. Greens were in poor condition. They have fans on 80% of the greens trying to keep air moving. But looks like fungus is getting the best of them. Course probably would be the best to play spring or fall.
