Needs a lot of work nice layout but the course is almost not even worth playing, but the guys I ended up playing with were great so even though the course was horrible I still had a good time

Nice layout, staff friendly and helpful, but greens are in poor condition.

I truly loved the course, the bar and restaurant too. However, I would not come back until the greens were completely repaired as several of them were awful and just really rough. And although I paid in advance online with GolfNow, I was still charged for range balls and I thought they came at no cost with your prepaid for the course. Anyway, I’ll be back but after those greens have time to mend.

Course was not well kept. Greens were in bad shape. Fairways not much better. It's very dry in the south this spring and when a course doesn't water the course and the players suffer.

Since our first contact the staff has been great, They go above and beyond to make the experience a good one. First the course layout is very nice, it has its challenges and you need to position your play on some holes, then you have some traditional holes, wet your appetite. This course has great potential!!!. The unfortunate part, not the fault of the course or staff, no rain for 42 days of any significance. Like surrounding courses, the greens need water and TLC I can see from the ownership and staff they are working on it and working at it. A local resident was on a green and digging out some poa annua areas, don't see that very often.

Very comfortable setting and location.

In the end, we will be back I am sure. The cottages, the bar/restaurant beat our expectations. combination private rooms and shared. 4 person cabins, nice.

No real negative to mention. You might find a cabin which the bathroom is located in an inconvenient area within the cabin.

All in All, We found this a very good group golf outing location.

Like the layout, greens terrible, fairways ok for drought conditions. Joined the twosome in front and had reasonable pace until the final stretch when double backup on #16. Saw multiple carts & 6+ on final holes ahead of us. Hope they get a quality greens keeper.

The course was aesthetically pleasing with the oaks and Spanish moss. The course was in bad shape. The fairways and greens were patchy and pitted with crab grass growing on the greens. It has potential. Unfortunately it needs a lot of work.

Wow, these greens were absolutely awful. No way around it which was a shame. The amenities besides the golf course were fantastic. Driving into the course with the beautiful clubhouse and small quant cottages but most of the greens were not even putt-able. Majority of the greens had bare spots covering most of the green.

The course conditions were dry, okay for what we wanted. The greens were the biggest issue, with 2 of the greens very poor. The issue with most of them was due to small weeds/different grass.

We used the course mainly for practice before spending a lot on other courses. But overall it was a fun course to play.

Very fun course, great layout and kind people! Conditions were good and will definitely improve with a bit of rain but absolutely spectacular course.

We drove down from Murrells Inlet to play. We were all very disappointed. Tee boxes were sparse, rock hard ground and greens were more dirt than grass. Not a bad layout but overall poor condition. Save your money and pick another course.

The lack of rain had the course in average condition at best. Some tee boxes and greens were in rough shape. For the price we paid good value

Greens were in horrible shape. Very bumpy and not well maintained.

The greens were the worst i’ve seen in a long time. Fairways were dry and mostly grasslless.

The course is laid out nice and the staff were kind and attentive. The course was in better shape last year at this time. The ground was very hard and the greens needed some attention.

It was a fun yet challenging course with a lot of room to pull out the boom stick.

Very friendly staff that made my first time at this course easy, relaxed and enjoyable. It’s a beautiful course and property as well.

Will be playing here often going forward!
