About
The Preserve at Verdae sprawls across a lush landscape of rolling hills and meadows covered with beautiful Carolina forests. Formerly known as Verdae Greens, the golf course was completely revamped but one of the primary goals of the renovation was to find harmony between golf and nature. The carefully reworked course does just that, blending seamlessly into its scenic surroundings. Rambling brooks wander across the layout and provide water hazards on a few holes. The wind is also a major factor on this golf course. The breezes can be either light and refreshing or strong and blustery, making proper club selection even more important. The most photographed hole on the golf course is the par-3 second. If you're lucky enough to come when the azaleas are blooming, this hole offers a breathtaking setting.

Challenging golf course in superb condition.
Showed up 30-minutes before tee-time. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I hit a bag of balls on the range, then putted on the putting green.
The course was in great shape, especially the greens. I found each hole to be challenging. I can't wait to play this course again. Pace of play, our foursome finished in 4-hours, 10-minutes .
Ii like the par 3's
I PLAY WITH THE SENIOR GROUP ON MONDAYS WHEN AVAILABLE. I FREQUENTLY USE THE PRACTICE GREENS AND CHIPPING AREA WHEN NOT PARTICIPATING IN GROUP PLAY. I DO ENJOY PRACTICING AT THE FACILITY.

Nice, but very tough course
First time playing the course. It’s a very nice course but is difficult. There are some blind tee shots that you have to play position and not just blast driver. Price was good for a nice course.
Superior course!
Verdae is always in beautiful condition, and the greens consistently well maintained. The tournaments are always fun, well-run, and very reasonably priced with an ample boxed lunch And/or a delicious meal afterwards!
Golf Tournament
Played in the golf tournament and the staff did an outstanding job, the two day tournament was priced fairly, the conditions were great, they had good food, overall it was run very, very, well. I recommend the course, especially for those who want to play in the tournaments.

Nice course
The greens are in remarkable shape.
The fairways are late fall conditions. No leaves on any fairways thanks to the ground keepers efforts. Thanks crews.

The Preserve
This is a nice course that is well taken care of. The staff is very friendly. We started on time and we were not rushed or held up. It isn’t an easy course but not real difficult either. Challenging without being frustrating. We will play again and often.
Great value
Nice course. Greens in excellent condition, but fairways were dry and rough was dirt, sand and tree roots. Course needs a lot of work to bring it up to the standard that I'm assuming existed when it opened. Overall though, for $30, this is excellent value and a fun course.
Need repairs
I really like the golf course it just needs repairs The cart paths are getting really bad. They golf course it's in great shape
Tight Course
Bring your A game or a lot of balls. Well designed course with elevation changes throughout. If your first time you’ll need help on some holes. Enjoyed the round. I’ll be back.
