Country Club of Newberry

The course is in great shape. Greens are fantastic and there’s grass in the fairways. You could not ask for better playing conditions for the money. Maybe the best value in the entire state! The course is challenging yet fair, due to the quality of playing conditions. If you haven’t played there yet…you should!

Overall had a good round of golf.

Several greens in poor shape and golf path in many locations was very rough.

Great course by the Airport in Newberry. Friendly staff and marshals were keeping everyone moving along at a good pace. Greens were in great shape for this early in the season. Lots of water around the course but fairways are wide enough to avoid them. Will be back again and again

First off, the staff and just the other golfers at the course were really nice. Everyone was friendly and spoke to you if you were on the putting green or tee box. It was nice that everyone wasn’t so caught up in themselves and had time to make conversations. The course is very forgiving. There is plenty of room for error and still the ability to score well. The hazards are well placed and course management comes into play for smart players. I’ll definitely play the course again and suggest others to check out this course. Fun fact, it’s the home course of the Newberry College Wolves.

Course is in good shape going into the winter season. Still green right now. Some traps are still holding water after rains. Slow play on the back side after catching up to a couple of women groups. Generally the women groups move along well here but not these groups. That is not the norm here so we will certainly be back again. Come play Newberry.

We always enjoy playing this course. It is in excellent condition, staff is friendly & helpful, & the ciost is very reasonable!!

We were very pleased with the Country Club of Newberry, the course was in great shape and many interesting holes. The proshop and halfway house was nothing to be excited about but the course was fun to play.

Good greens and fairways. Tee boxes are a little rough. I played with a friend and we were playing behind two groups of 5 guys. We waited frequently, so it was a little slow but not the worst. The rate was good for a Sunday. Beautiful setting.

Greens were hard and extremely fast, have played there a few times and enjoy this course. Will definitely play again.

Course is in good shape. Greens were rolling good. Had some water in a few traps due to 2 days of rain. Weather was great.

This course is a gem! The fairways, greens , and pace of play were great. The course layout was fun, challenging and rewarding for good shots. I would highly recommend and look forward to playing it again.
