The Golf Club at Star Fort sits near the site of a Revolutionary battle known as the Assault at Star Fort. The golf course offers a family-friendly layout surrounded by the region's rich history. The player-friendly design is gentle enough for junior players and beginners, but it's also great for more advanced players who are looking for a quick round. It will surprise you with a few challenges too. At 6,952 yards, the golf course isn't terribly long but there are still some good driving holes. There are some interesting risk-reward par 5s and some fun par 3s that will make you think. Star Fort's final hole is a par 4 that requires accuracy over distance since you'll have to weave through two ponds before facing an uphill shot to a well bunkered green.

Very playable course
Suggest that any groups over 4, have their own tee slots. Pace is too slow when fivesomes are mixed in with regular golfer groups. Very pleased with condition of course and the staff.
For a sunday, worked well
Does not seem right for allowing fivesomes during prime time. Really enjoyed the course despite slower pace
Good older course
Played this course many times. It’s a good value. The staff is friendly. It was in good shape for early spring. Greens roll consistent. I do recommend this course.
Home course
Star Fort is close to my home.I love playing it. I don't play that often so being a member is not worthy. Course is always in good shape pin placement always a challenge.
Nice course but needs some tlc.
The course is a bit scruffy although the greens are fine. The rough needs cutting down as balls missing the fairway were often difficult to find. On the whole it was worth the price we paid but there are better courses in the area so, as vacation players, we won't return this year. As a two ball we did catch up a a very slow four ball who had no intention of letting us through which we found discourteous.
Too slow, dog fights slow down play in afternoon.
Nice course and layout. Does not seem to be anyone worried about pace of play. A little creative planning could improve things greatly. Enjoy playing the course on Monday’s when no dog fights.
Nice greens
Nice course to find in the woods. Greens were nice. Cart paths were not. Fairways in good shape and a challenge from the white tees at 6500. Just a little more care and money will make this a must play course.
Good course and enjoyed it greatly. Be ready for some long holes and I like that.
