White Plains Golf Club

This course was great fun to play! Phenomenal shape, the greens were pristine. Large size like the pros, something to shoot for, not a table top green. Bunkers were protecting the greens with the flag placements, but still fun and challenging. Quite a few pretty views of water, fairways still well maintained. Totally recommend this course, had my best score in over a year! Will return!

It was my first time playing this course. Wasn’t overly difficult a couple of interesting the holes depending upon which tee your playing from. Pace of play wasn’t terrible but not great until I played the front a second time. Overall 4 out of 5 stars. Will play again.

Second time making this drive down to Pageland area. Greens are good but were a little sandy today. A little rain should clear that up. Fairways have good grass, but edges are sandy with tree roots. Short par 4s, but long par 5s. Very uncrowded during the week. Expect to play here less than 4 times per year due to location. Clubhouse is old and needs reno...but I don't play golf in the clubhouse.

A bit of a drive, but surprisingly worth it. Doesn't look like much from the road, and there isn't much of a clubhouse. However, the course was very well maintained and the staff was very friendly. Course appears flat from the road but has some moderate hills. Only issue was sand traps lacked sand. Very enjoyable non-pretentious course. Large greens that roll true. Fairly wide open with limited hazards. I will be back again and will definitely recommend the course.

An overall enjoyable round; fairways and greens in pretty decent shape. A few of the bunkers were a little rough and most cart paths are in need of repair but an excellent value for the price.

I liked the layout, the greens were in good shape except in some spots which happens on just about every course. Great value. It was a ride for my golf buddy and me but we will still play there from time to time.

Decided to try course out. Being an hour away and pretty secluded I had no clue what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised. Course was in good shape. Outside of a couple bunkers that had water in them, there wasn't anything noticeably wrong with course. Greens were nice. Some had a couple dead spots but overall no major issues. Fairways were nice and tee boxes, well their tee boxes. The course is wide open, fairly short, and sprinkled with a few challenging holes. It’s a very fun course to play. I just wish I lived closer.

WARNING Sunday morning I played and there were a lot of fivesomes that wouldn’t let anyone through. Still got round in under 4 and a half hours.

I’m very picky and meticulous where I play and this is my far the worst course I have ever played at! Ant hills on the fairways, sitting water in certain holes and even inside the cups which meant there’s no drainage, and the upkeep of the landscape was not all that great but hey I guess as the old saying goes you get what you pay for $35 for 18. Cheap and definitely not a course for the serious golfer.

I booked the tee time with Golf now for 30 however upon reaching club they forced me to pay 35 even though I shown golf now booking email.They said they increased the fee due to holiday. I need my $5 back.

Fairways were best I’ve played in quite a while. Greens fees were very reasonable for holiday weekend. I drove almost an hour to play here today. It was well worth the ride!

Overall a very good value. My biggest complaint is the traps are not consistent. Some with new sand, compact older sand, and no sand just mud.

First time playing this track, found the greens to be very good overall but there were some brown spots on a few greens. Fairways were firm but did have enough grass, except near the edges where the was some sandy areas with tree roots. Many of the cart paths also had invading roots leading to some bumpy areas. Blue yardage seems short due to short par 4s, but par 3s were good and par 5s were long. Clubhouse is old and outdated. Overall, this is a great value, but driving out to Pageland area is not easy. I expect to play here just a couple of times per year...but I don't see how they can stay in business.

Great day for golf. Paired up with a great guy to play with. Course not real busy so we played our round in 3 1/2 hours. Course was in good shape. There are some dry places in the fairways but it's been unusually dry. Greens in good, not excellent, shape. A few greens had a bad spot. Since this was a hot deal on golfnow and was only $21 I think this was a great value.
