Golfer Reviews
Pleasant Suprise
Lots of fun, greens in great shape, fairways as well. Clubhouse and proshop fairly new. Didn't eat there, but looked nice. Middle of no where though.
One of the nicest courses I’ve played.
Well hidden gem only 1 hour outside of Columbia! Well worth the drive! Best golf coarse I’ve ever played!
Great Course-Except a few spots
This is an excellent course with brand new off course amenities. They have done so much work to the course to get it in top shape. However, they are still working on areas like Denise’s and around sand traps. Due to this, the course should not be charging full price for rounds of golf. Once all work is completed, the course could go back to full price.
Becoming very good!
Conditions continue to improve and this course has become a hidden gem. The clubhouse is magnificent! Food is excellent, as are the beverages.
The course was in decent shape and continues to improve as they put work into it. Bunkers are very soft but consistent (i found several...) greens are quick. Some are more smooth than others - there's trouble with previous cup location leaving a large bump? But not bad and this is infrequent.
Tee boxes are decent, and fairways are growing in with several being quite lush. Cats are quick and comfortable.
The beverage girl was extremely pleasant, as was the rest of the staff.
Overall a great experience, especially for the cost. We8ek be back.
Need Better Course Management
Course is in good shape, but play was slow on the front. Some groups are just painfully slow.
Everyone should be required to take a course in ready golf. But the worst was the back 9 when our group made the turn and ran into groups in front of us that were not there previously. Obviously randomly started on the back 9 and were even slower than the front groups. Gave up without finishing and left. Frustrating.
Terrible course
Bad fairways bad greens bad pace just bad course overall never coming back
Great time!
We will be back! Very enjoyable round! Good pace and the pro shop, especially Charles was top tier!
Longest Round Ever
Usual White Plains. Greens and sand traps in good shape. Fairways average.
My only issue. There were no carts available at check in. Asked when one would be available and the Leo shop said “I don’t know ask outside”. I asked the cart guy and he said “ I have no idea go check in the pro shop”. Then I was told “there’s a large group”.of course we didn’t get to tee off at correct time. Our round took almost 5 hours.
It’s still the same tee times you have every day. Why would that be an issue? As we finally started, I noticed several 4somes ahead of us with 3 carts (2 single riders). Why do you allow this if you’re short? Why didn’t the starter stop this? Why wasn’t there a ranger out pairing them together.
You want to be an elite course. Get prepared.
love white plains
course is great, treated my grandson to lunch afterwards... the smash burger and fries was delicious
