Perfect day, perfect course
The only thing that could have been better is my gold swing.
Play this course often, usually always great. Worth the money
Worst round ever !
First this course was promising with reviews and I was excited to play this round. The over maintenance of the course was trash the greens were punched and they were super slow And uneven. Greens in general were garbage not what I was expecting for a 4 Starr over all review that I have read. Every green was over grown and not cut. The poor maintenance of the course and the garbage customer service when it was brought to the attention of course staff was unacceptable and I would not recommend this course for the foreseeable future !
Overall spend your money elsewhere and not here in this garbage 18 !!
Pace of play was very slow.
We do not have many good places to play around the Central Valley that is open to the public. This course was $42 to play with sub par greens and playing behind a 3 some that was terribly slow. We were waiting 7-10 min before each tee shot. There was a group a head of them but no way should we have been waiting that long to hit. The group a head was at least 2-3 shots ahead of them. Lastly, the course had 3 areas to fill up water and only the first one had water. It was a 9 a.m. tee time and by noon they were empty. Word to the wise, it gets hot in the Central Valley and offering golfers water is a plus.
Very good layout in Bakersfield
Great course especially for a public track.
Staff is 50/50. The good is really good the bad is real bad. If they would start a member program that assigned member teams in charge of divot repair on 3 or 4 greens it would be another star for the course. Just a suggestion.
Horrible Service
Charged $15 each for my daughters to ride and look at dead grass and hairy greens. The starter made me go back to clubhouse to pay for them. Course is hard up to milk you for anything they can get. Cashier in the clubhouse didn’t say a word when I expressed my frustration. He could careless. He was young and inexperienced. Had a manager been on site, I would have given them an earful.
Had a great time.
Got lucky and teed off a bit earlier than my formal tee time. Playing alone, I sailed around the course in three hours. Everything was A-1 except for my golfing skills.
Greens
In the past greens has been spotty this year great effort to keep greens playable and consistent.
Good course
Best public course in Bakersfield. Greens weren't the best, but playable.
Slow play
A little bit of sand in the bunkers and a marshall on the course would go a long way here!
Letting the course go
I'm not sure if it's under new management or what, but the course gets worse every time I play here yet the price keeps going up. I want to like this course so much cause it's a nice layout and in the middle of town. It's just not that nice and charging 35+ on a week day with not ideal course conditions
