Really hilly
The greens were in good shape, the fairways and rough was not in particiularly good shape. Course is very very hilly and makes for a frustrating round. Even if you hit a great shot you have a terrible lie. Some greens really fast, some pretty slow. Pace of play was pretty poor. Had to wait on every shot.
I like the change in elevaions
This course has conditions not usually found in the Piedmont or coastal areas, being a lot of uphill shots as well as corresonding downhils. If you can deal with uneven lies or want the challenge, it is great. Greens were excellent and true.
Greens are very nice. Some fairways difficult to hit from
Hole two and eleven are the most difficult fairways. A lot of dips in the ground, and ground is very hard
One of the worst layouts I have ever played in the Upstate of SC.
This is no George Cobb design and if it was it was likely an extreme swing and miss on his part. This course has the sharpest terrain I have ever played (even sharper than Connestee Falls in NC). It is as if they built a golf course on a piece of property that isn't fit for extreme bike racing. Imagine teeing off directly in to an embankment. There is not a single flat hole on the golf course. It is also in the middle of nowhere and hard to get to from the interstate. If there is a cheaper rate or you can play Pickens CC... do that.

Course has a lot of character that offers challenge & requires strategic playing. Excellent bang for the $$$!

Like playing in the mountains. Greens were in great shape and course was well manicured. Great for the price. A must play.

This course has a terrible driving range, but pretty good course none the less.
It looks kept up and I would come back to play here.

Nice course, lots of hills
The course was in very good condition. There is very little flat ground here. You either going uphill or downhill on most holes. GPS equipped golf carts are nice. Overall, an enjoyable round of golf. I would recommend to anyone.

i am anxious to return later in the spring--the course should really shine with new grass and leaves.
