Willow Creek Golf Course
About
Situated between Greenville and Spartanburg, Willow Creek Golf Course is a favorite course amongst many area players. The course has a classic layout that starts out gently with a player-friendly front nine but then becomes much more challenging on the back nine. The layout is a seemingly mild 6,890 yards from the back tees but it can feel longer because of all the elevation changes you'll encounter. It's a golf course that will appeal to beginners but advanced players will also enjoy the many risk-reward opportunities that can be found throughout. Water hazards come into play on eight holes and there is a slew of strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides. The par-5 fifth hole is Willow Creek Golf Course's signature. This 516-yard hole tumbles across rolling hills with a stream that cuts right through the fairway.

GPS
GPS systems on the carts were awful. You spent more time trying to get the alarm turned off and the cart shutting down then you did playing golf and the staff couldn’t even turn them off made Fore pretty much such a crappy day of golf.
Willow Creek SC
Fantastic layout. Great greens… fast and true
All round good
Course is all round good in most aspects!
Good conditions, good carts, good parking, greens rolling good. Nice that they have water and ice with cups available in the clubhouse. I know it probably cuts down on tips for the grill staff, but sure makes things run smoother and faster!
The negative right now is the way the GPS implementation is going through growing pains! a bit of a distraction with some lockouts and the oral warnings. Should be a great enhancement once it is
Completely transitioned! Wasn't as crowded today, but can become so on certain days- and Rangers need to be aware of slow players that will back up the course. Hopefully the GPS system will help that.
WC is probably the gold standard for semi private courses in the area. Keep it up.
Nice course
Greens in very good shape - speed and break occasionally inconsistent. Rough was high and gnarly. Some fairway features were surprise for first time played. We either missed or there weren't water stations on course. Play time good until last few holes on back nine
Willow Creek
The is is a very nice course to play, I enjoy playing here
Great design
Great design, good practice facilities, friendly staff and fairly easy to walk. I always enjoy playing this course.
Worth every penny, plus some
I play a lot of golf throughout the entire Greenville area. There are two courses that stand above and beyond the rest. Those two courses are Walker at Clemson, and Willow Creek. You would really be nit picking to call one track better than the other with the exception of sentimental reasons for the Clemson folks.
At Willow Creek, if you stay in the fairway, you have a good chance of making par. Veer off into the rough, you're playing for bogie, or possibly double.
Trust me, you will not regret playing at Willow creek.....
Golf
Good condition greens and fairways. Nice course over all. Lot of blind shots though with no pic of hole. So tough on a first timer. Enjoyed the course a lot though.
Willow Creek
Course was in immaculate shape, good pace of play, enjoyed the round
