About
Beacon Ridge Golf and Country Club, a Gene Hamm design on rolling, wooded terrain, opened in 1989. This well-maintained course has bermudagrass fairways and bentgrass greens.
Perhaps what sets Beacon Ridge apart from a number of other courses in the Pinehurst area is its variety. Just about every hole has its own character. The greens are mostly large and sloped. You will find adequate room off the tee, but if you miss the fairway, you’ll end up in deep rough and pine trees and might not find your ball. Play conservative and keep your ball in play.

Great experience
Friendly staff, great rates, and the course was in good condition considering the time of year. I would definitely return here. One of the more reasonable places to play in the area on a well maintained course.
Just Golf; No Amenities
Played a nice round of golf and we were just a twosome. It was nice that the front desk let us start on the back nine and had a 3 1/2 hour round. The disappointment continues to be no restaurant or bar and after three years of hearing that it will open next month have finally not renewed my membership.
Needs TLC
If you want a decent layout that's inexpensive, its fine. Greens were slow but ok shape. Don't expect raked traps or filled in divots.

Well maintained course.
Everything is in good conditions.
My friend and I played 18 holes at noon on last Sunday . we were shocked at how nice this place was based on reviews. The greens and fairways were beautiful, couldn't gauge the bunkers really cause it rained a lot the day before. The staff were super friendly.
Great Shape
If you haven't played Beacon Ridge lately you owe it to yourself to give it another try. Greens, fairways & tees were in the best shape I've seen them in over 6 years. $45.00 includes cart & tax. Best deal going in this area!!
enjoyed my round here very much. Played here on a wednesday, Tee boxes, fairways, rough, bunkers. And greens were all good.

Beacon Ridge greens condition is very good, The layout so beautiful.
Course ok - outside course not so much
Work outside course itself (fairways and greens) need work. Cart paths and wooded areas need to be fixed/cleaned up.
