It was just OK
The course was nice, but there is just so much upkeep that needs to be done to make it really enjoyable. The cart paths are in bad shape and directional signage could be improved.
Great for the price!
My wife and I played in 3 hours. Hardly anybody else on the course. We let one single play through and still finished in 3 hours on a Wednesday afternoon.
Beautiful course
1st off 29$ for this course is an unreal deal….. fairways were perfect greens were firm and fast which is challenging and the bunkers were soft….. only downfall is no range…. But they do have a hitting net and I knew there wasn’t a range going into my round…. The carts are nice with coolers and rain protection…. I love the par 3 8th with an extreme elevation change!!!! Will play here again for sure!
No driving range
No driving range to warm up. Course was in good shape. Bland lay out.
Great bang for the buck!
There are some holes that are tight off the tee that could make it a long day for golfers who spray it wide, but overall this is a very fun track. Good topography, sloping greens, and some great risk/reward shots. I was surprised to find the course virtually empty at 11:00 on a Saturday. At the pricing, I'll play here again in a heartbeat.
Making great strides
Enjoyed the layout. Greens in great shape. Obviously putting money into the course and clubhouse.. I will be returning as I live in the area and believe this club and course will continue to improve!
Well worth the drive
There may be more visually stunning courses in the Pinehurst area, but for the money, this is my new favorite course. Not extremely long but a shot makers’s delight. Course conditions are very good. No snack bar but one is under construction. Great pace of play. Will be back.
Good course great value
Interesting course lay out - good mix of par 3s and 5s - some 5s play like a 4....great place to learn course/club management. Super fast pace, did not rush and finished in about 3:20 (on a Saturday!). Staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. Restaurant coming soon, but shop sells snacks, beverages, beer and basics in the meantime. Amazing value for a great, easy going 18 holes of golf. Showed up 45 mins before booked tee time and staff worked us into the back 9 to prevent a back up, good management and awareness. Will DEFINITELY be back given it is a mile from our house. Thank you for a great round!
Nice Course
It was my first time playing here. It seems like the new owners are really putting work into the course and club house. The course was very clean and had some unique holes. The 9th really stood out as a cool hole. I gave low score for off course amenities because the proshop only had the bare essentials and there is no driving range (although there is a net and some balls just to get the swing warmed up). However, they are renovating and working on getting a bar and restaurant. With the improvements they are making everywhere I am sure this place is on the upswing. For a point of reference I typically spend 30 to 60 bucks on 18 and this place keeps up with courses at that price point.
Good value
Kinda wonky layout. Greens were quite good. Entire course is rough around the edges but a good value at $28 for 18 holes.
Great value and pace
Took the 1 hour trip down from Holly Springs. Course was in pretty good shape. Hard to complain as it was $32.50 a person and pace moved quick. Staff very friendly but no grill yet (says one is coming). Great day on a good course at an excellent value. Worth the drive down.
