This is a great course from the beginner to the scratch golfer
For the value this course exceeded expectations. I was taken by extreme scenery of the smokies and area. The staff were so friendly and my breakfast was superb. I will play this course again when I travel to tennesee. My brother and I enjoyed our round.
Great little course.
Love the elevation changes and views! Conditions were good despite heavy rains that week. Made some greenies, but they require good length for this senior; can't make it if you miss any shots, even par 5's. Fewer hazards make it very playable.
Great Course
Dandridge was an awesome course to play. They have 27 holes total so they can spread out their groups and a fast 2 some like the one I play in can get 18 holes complete in 3 hours. We even payed a little extra to play the final 9 and in 4 1/2 hours we played 27 holes. Of course after all these holes we were still tied and the clubhouse was nice enough to let us play a par 3 to break the tie since we had a small amount of money riding on it, and it had to be settled. The one minus I could think of is that there is no bar at the course so if you like a cold one while rounding the links bring your cooler, and pass off a few to your partner if he starts playing too well to slow him down. Overall great course and very player friendly. Over all the Smoky mountain courses, and I have played them all, I will choose Dandridge when it is available on Golf Now.
Great course for the money.
Tried to play the last two weekends, but weather said otherwise. Definitely worth the wait and the drive, (nearly 60 miles).
Friendly staff, well maintained course. Played the white and blue courses in about 4 hours 10 min. Let a twosome play through who appeared almost out of nowhere. Just enough doglegs, water, hills to make it interesting without making it too difficult. Definitely plan to return.
Fun
Dandridge is a very fun place to play. It has wide open spaces, fair putting greens, and a scenic layout. Only issue was the difference in speed among nines. The blue course has greens that are much slower than the red or white. The staff is very friendly. I will definitely play again.
Great features and excellent value!
Course in good condition after a 2 - 3 inch rain the day before we played. Allowed carts on course with 90 degree rule. White course greens were large, true and fast with undulation. Blue course greens were smaller and slower, having polana grass. Would definitely play this course again, when visiting the area!
Dandridge CC is a great value and a great place to get your confidence up.
The course was in excellent shape considering three days of heavy rainfall. The greens were soft, receptive and relatively fast and true for an easy course. The course was not busy so pace of play was fast. The staff always does a good job utilizing all three nines to help maintain a good pace of play. I think this course is the best value in East Tennessee for the 15+ handicapper. If you are looking for a challenge go elsewhwere. If you are looking to build confidence there is no better choice.
A lovely course. Fairways & greens well maintained. Awesome mountain views.
Beautiful course , beautiful views. Look forward to playing this course again.
Nice course in the smokeys
Nice course with great views of the Smokey Mountains.
Should be easy if I were a better golfer.Layout allows for not so good drives to be playable.Greens are a little slower than others in the area, maybe because of rain yesterday.Great value.
great value
i liked the rolling hills and open feel to the course.the fairways were completely brown yet and the ground was hard.this made it hard to use the irons properly.course should be really good to play once the grass comes in and is watered
this course is really not a good value
the yardage markers and distances are way off
the greens are terrible also the position of the pins are really poor
no grass on the fairways or tees
green to tees are very poorly marked and really easy to not know where you are going
Good course, fun with great views of the Smokies
Greens were extremely difficult. It was like putting on ice!! We constantly misread the breaks or overread them.
Excellent choice for beginner to medium skilled and senior golfers. Can be challenging though from the blue tees.
A most enjoyable course for all and a short drive for tourist visiting the area. Perfect, fast greens that are always a challenge if you are not careful. Great mountain vistas, but not a mountain type course. A great value.
nice pro shop
the greens on this course were in really good shape for the time of year. They are miles ahead of one of the other local courses.
the course is good
the course was in good shape for as much rain as we have had.
The green were great and challenging
Great winter golf
The course was in fantastic winter condition. It appears to drain well and not become a mudhole as do many East Tn courses this time of year. Kudos to the designer and to the staff.
good value
good course fair prices. survey too hard to choose what i want.
Challenging but fair 27 hole golf course.
Beautiful scenery, hilly fairways, large well maintained greens.
always in good shape
normally nice people, rain moving in and they didn't want to let us start early because of golfnow tee time, even though only few playing because of weather moving in. this is understandable if course was crowded, but wasn't. realize these are special rates, but if operators would put themselves in customers shoes, think they would agree
