About
Situated at the base of the Conejo Mountain, Camarillo Springs Golf Course was carefully carved from the mountain's towering rock formations but it gets its name from the scenic water features that can be found throughout. Naturally, water is the primary challenge on this course, coming into play on eleven holes. There are also long par 3s that will require a sharp iron game. The course offers a fair test of your skills but the elevation changes are modest and the player-friendly fairways are wide and forgiving, which make the course more accessible to beginners. The golf course has a memorable start with a par-4 second hole, which is a tricky dogleg left from an elevated tee that features one of the best views on the course. The consistently good course conditions and the affordable rates have garnered Camarillo Springs a strong following among local golfers.

Flooded due to rain the day before.
The course condition was terrible due to flooding from rain the day before. Every hole was flooded.
Course is Green!

Got a great price on tee off
We lost a few balls due to the thick rough just off the fairways

All the lakes have water in them now and the scenery on the front nine is spectacular

A potentially great course that is currently terrible
Decided to give this course another try but let down again. Grass was in very poor condition and most bunkers were filled with water. The marshal was more concerned with keeping the carts off the shoddy grass and mud instead of the painfully slow pace of play that was plaguing multiple groups. Our round took over 5.5 hours! I would not recommend this course to anyone unless there is literally nothing else available.

Rain improved course conditions
Best condition the course has been in 20 year’s all the lakes are full by mid March the course should be in great shape

Awful pace of play
I don’t understand how fridays are just as slow as the weekends. Over booked on Friday and weekends, don’t come here other then weekdays.

Playing golf with my sons
Took my sons out for a noon round. Weather was perfect. Golf course was wet from the rains, but in decent shape. Greens were in very good condition. Staff was great. Had a great time with my sons and a gentlemen I played with before. All in all a great day.

Take your best Shot
A very challenging course with a meaningful design that spell GOLF correctly. I wish they would put a little more money into the conditions of the course or get a new golf superintendent. The revenue is there. It was the middle of the week and the course was packed.

The course has a kind of charm to it. It backs up to these beautiful hills with awesome rock formations. The course itself is a little crude but still playable and lovable. The price can not be beaten. Definitely, worth play for any level player!⁹
