About
Situated at the base of the Conejo Mountain, Camarillo Springs Golf Course was carefully carved from the mountain's towering rock formations but it gets its name from the scenic water features that can be found throughout. Naturally, water is the primary challenge on this course, coming into play on eleven holes. There are also long par 3s that will require a sharp iron game. The course offers a fair test of your skills but the elevation changes are modest and the player-friendly fairways are wide and forgiving, which make the course more accessible to beginners. The golf course has a memorable start with a par-4 second hole, which is a tricky dogleg left from an elevated tee that features one of the best views on the course. The consistently good course conditions and the affordable rates have garnered Camarillo Springs a strong following among local golfers.

Has potential.
Overall it was an okay course. The pace of play was really slow. Not enjoyable, course has potential to be a good course if the staff kept up with the fairways, tee boxes, and greens.

This course is coming back after a lot of water damage this last two years. It has always been one of my favorites in the county. You can't beat the price. It plays pretty fast and the staff is great. Sylvia in the pro shop is a real sweet heart.

Level tee boxes
Course in good condition, but good luck, finding a level spot for your tea off. The value is fair, but the course is a little funky. Had a great time and the weather was beautiful done

Wonderful Staff
The Staff was very friendly and inviting. The Starter was incredibly helpful making sure things started out smoothly. Nice big smiles on everyone. Nice to see these days.

Great bang for the buck while everything is green!
Only my second time here but it was great. It was slightly behind when I arrived but not by more than a couple minutes. It did slow down towards the end. The round was about 15 under 5 hours. But will return again and again.

In regards to the Starter Tim
Tim has a tough job dealing with some really diva weekend warrior golfers. They show up late, expect tee times to change, don't respect the golf course or its rules. So, yes, he can come across as harsh at times, but this job requires that at times.
I've been golfing here every weekend for the last 5 years and never had an issue with him once I understood why he can appear harsh at times. Respect the rules and the course and all the staff will treat you well.

I think that’s a very unfair way to characterize him.
I have also dealt with Tim over the years. I have nothing but good things to say about Tim. He must put up with a lot of stuff from the players at this course. This is because they let the rules stretch a little bit trying to make everybody’s experience the most joy able they can have.

Scruffy but fun! Stay out of the rough - take an extra club if you're in it! Nice to see such natural vegetation and low density... Greens were in great shape!

There's an employee there named Tim that is a psychopath. Trash talks the guests constantly
They don't notify GolfNow.com when they aerate the greens like the rest of the courses do because their going out of business
