About
Situated at the base of the Conejo Mountain, Camarillo Springs Golf Course was carefully carved from the mountain's towering rock formations but it gets its name from the scenic water features that can be found throughout. Naturally, water is the primary challenge on this course, coming into play on eleven holes. There are also long par 3s that will require a sharp iron game. The course offers a fair test of your skills but the elevation changes are modest and the player-friendly fairways are wide and forgiving, which make the course more accessible to beginners. The golf course has a memorable start with a par-4 second hole, which is a tricky dogleg left from an elevated tee that features one of the best views on the course. The consistently good course conditions and the affordable rates have garnered Camarillo Springs a strong following among local golfers.

Playing golf with my sons
Took my sons out for a noon round. Weather was perfect. Golf course was wet from the rains, but in decent shape. Greens were in very good condition. Staff was great. Had a great time with my sons and a gentlemen I played with before. All in all a great day.

Take your best Shot
A very challenging course with a meaningful design that spell GOLF correctly. I wish they would put a little more money into the conditions of the course or get a new golf superintendent. The revenue is there. It was the middle of the week and the course was packed.

The worst tee boxes in 3 counties. Like hitting off of the pitchers mound. No management

The course has a kind of charm to it. It backs up to these beautiful hills with awesome rock formations. The course itself is a little crude but still playable and lovable. The price can not be beaten. Definitely, worth play for any level player!⁹

Not worth the money anymore
This course was fine, but I played on Sunday afternoon and the course was so slow and the marshal was just driving around letting us know that it’s backed up while doing absolutely nothing about it. Exclaiming that we would finish on time. Well 4 1/2 hours later on hole 14 sunlight was basically gone, waiting for a 4 man group to tee off while they wait for the 4 man in front of them to hit their second shot. So we couldn’t finish, surprising. Course was in horrendous shape, and cart girl couldn’t even drive around the entire course because she would get stuck, what’s the point of having a cart girl waiting by the club house turn around?! It used to be fine for the price but for $40 you can easily get your monies worth playing anywhere else. Save your money, go somewhere else.

Broken down course with hope
I’ve been to this course many times. I have always enjoyed playing here and have not minded its condition because of its low fare but as of late the prices have risen quite significantly. The course has a great challenging layout but a lack of greenkeeping in the fairways and the tee boxes. The fairways have been taken over by crabgrass and or dirt. The bunkers are hardened sand and tee boxes are more like pyramids than mounds. My hope is with the raised fees as of late that they invest in the course and its upkeeping.
