About
Situated at the base of the Conejo Mountain, Camarillo Springs Golf Course was carefully carved from the mountain's towering rock formations but it gets its name from the scenic water features that can be found throughout. Naturally, water is the primary challenge on this course, coming into play on eleven holes. There are also long par 3s that will require a sharp iron game. The course offers a fair test of your skills but the elevation changes are modest and the player-friendly fairways are wide and forgiving, which make the course more accessible to beginners. The golf course has a memorable start with a par-4 second hole, which is a tricky dogleg left from an elevated tee that features one of the best views on the course. The consistently good course conditions and the affordable rates have garnered Camarillo Springs a strong following among local golfers.

Great course for practice
The course itself is fine, greens and fairways in decent shape so far this year. Bunkers and water hazards need some work. The driving range is all torn up. Bathroom facilities were disgusting. Carts are in marginal condition. The reason I play here is the summer weather and price make it a bargain for just playing golf.

Need to monitor course and employees
The course is in great shape and a fun course to play when being well managed
They let a group of 6 young guys go out who were joined by another group of 4. A group that large brought play to a stop. Course marshal was asked about it early on and did nothing about it. Kids were driving carts wrecklessly and standing on the sides messing around. 4 people on a cart is very unsafe
The beverage girl never left the clubhouse. Even when we made the turn from 11 we found the cart but couldn’t find her. Someone had to find her to sell us beer
More effort should be put in to monitoring play and if your going to give someone a cart to drive around they should probably drive around
Thank you for the feedback. We don't send out 6-somes, however, once out of sight of the clubhouse some of our customers don't use common sense and proper golf ettiquite. The issue with the marshall and bev cart person has been addressed. Your comments will be passed along to the management team.

The worst tee boxes in 3 counties, they never roll the greens so putts bounce off line constantly. Weeds everywhere. Balls roll thru hard sand traps.
An attorney bought the place a couple of years ago to develop townhouses on it so it is not being treated like a golf course anymore. Before the heavy rains this course had the worst conditions you've ever seen. Straight tin cup status. The bad conditions will return with the lack of rain again, they don't water much.

This course sucks
Minus the decent Mountain View’s this course sucks. Course staff was rude, and the cart path acted like a water runoff so You are constantly driving over messed up concrete and water running under your cart on half the course. Driving range nets were falling off all over the place. Greens were alright at best. Pace of play was equivalent to playing behind Patrick Cantlay at The Masters. Took us almost 4 hours to play 13 holes until we decided to call it quits.

The course is in great condition and the staff is nice!
I haven't been here for awhile, but loved it. The greens are in great condition and the fairways is also pretty good.
It was a delay at the t-box, but after that, it was not too bad. It took close to 5 hours..
I will definitely come back to play soon :-)
