Camarillo Springs Golf Course
About
Situated at the base of the Conejo Mountain, Camarillo Springs Golf Course was carefully carved from the mountain's towering rock formations but it gets its name from the scenic water features that can be found throughout. Naturally, water is the primary challenge on this course, coming into play on eleven holes. There are also long par 3s that will require a sharp iron game. The course offers a fair test of your skills but the elevation changes are modest and the player-friendly fairways are wide and forgiving, which make the course more accessible to beginners. The golf course has a memorable start with a par-4 second hole, which is a tricky dogleg left from an elevated tee that features one of the best views on the course. The consistently good course conditions and the affordable rates have garnered Camarillo Springs a strong following among local golfers.

Camarillo Springs Golf Club
I recently played 18 here with my friend and we were both disappointed with the course conditions. The fairways were all brown, the greens were all uneven, and the cart paths were all super bumpy. I will say the pace of play was excellent! My friend and I played all 18 holes within 4 hours. Also, the first 9 holes has great views of the mountains lining up against the course. Regarding the staff, they seemed to not be interested in assisting you with questions. They claim to clean the restrooms every hour, but the men's restroom was disgusting and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. I think $60 is too expensive to play here, especially with how poor the conditions are. I'd be more comfortable paying $35-$40 a round. Players beware!
JG
course needs alot of TLC
greens were OK, fairways were BAD! general maintenance of the is bad looks like there going out of business
Too expensive
The course could be a pretty nice course. But the state of the course isn’t very good and they charge more than other courses that are nicer. I would only play here again if it was at the twilight rate.
Best round thanks to Camarillo Springs
I shot a 43 which is by far my best round ever. The greens were perfect. Fairways were 8/10. It's probably just my opinion, but this is my favorite course I have ever played. Tee boxes are my only complaint. They could be flatter. Overall I am giving this course a 9.5/10. Will be back ASAP.
Never go there.
Absolutely the worst course I ever played. Fairway was pure dirt sprinkled with grass and major holes. Greens were pathetic. This place should be condemned.
Good course
Course is pretty decent but you always have to wait for a cart. We were late because we had to wait for one.
Awesome Course
Super underrated IMO, beautiful course!! They may be closing soon,,, but may also stay open as a 12 hole course by making the holes by the freeway(back 9) housing. They would also open a restaurant above the current club house, according to the owner or manager. I hope that happens, would be a shame for Ventura County to loose Camarillo Springs all together…
Could be better
It's a decent course for the money but has very little frills. There's really no club house or any amenities to speak of, course is laid out well but is in a bit of shabby shape. I will chalk this up to California drought and heat conditions. Pace of play was slow and I really didn't see any Marshaling going on . It was a different course and had available tee times for two and so we played it. If they actually took better care of the course and had a more presentable first impression it would move up in rating it
