Situated at the base of the Conejo Mountain, Camarillo Springs Golf Course was carefully carved from the mountain's towering rock formations but it gets its name from the scenic water features that can be found throughout. Naturally, water is the primary challenge on this course, coming into play on eleven holes. There are also long par 3s that will require a sharp iron game. The course offers a fair test of your skills but the elevation changes are modest and the player-friendly fairways are wide and forgiving, which make the course more accessible to beginners. The golf course has a memorable start with a par-4 second hole, which is a tricky dogleg left from an elevated tee that features one of the best views on the course. The consistently good course conditions and the affordable rates have garnered Camarillo Springs a strong following among local golfers.

Greens ok but rest of course not

Let me start by saying this course has serious potential. We teed off about 20 mins after our tee time as there is no starter and only saw about 3 employees there all day. So as soon as you pay, no matter what your tee time is, you can essentially go out there and tee off. For the price, I wasn’t too upset with this but the rough was long and patchy. Fairways have tall grass and the pace was very slow. It’s situated on a good property and if the staff or management gave a darn, this could be a nice course. Very muni in the sense that people will play here no matter what so they don’t care. Save your money and play elsewhere unless you have no other option

Looks the best it’s ever Been

The course looks amazing since reopening... the greens are good, fairways are nice and the lakes/water hazards are filled... stay on the fairways though. The roughs are real rough, you can easily lose your ball if you don’t keep it on the fairway.

Incredible

This course opened for play June 1, and is a bit rough round the edges. Grounds keepers are working hard to mow and cut to specs. Great course, have LOVED playing here for years. Check out out for yourself!

Cam Springs Sunday

Course has tons of potential. Greens were actually in good condition despite being spongy. Traps are in terrible shape and the fairways and over all grass on the course is below par ( get it? ). Overall its a decent value and I think the layout is good.

Dry Times

The fairways and tee boxes are drying up and turning brown already and it’s only February! Obviously they aren’t watering the course. Such a pity. The course has an awesome location at the base of the mountain, wildlife abounds. Too bad the owners have let the course go to pot, but then they don’t care, they just want to replace the course with houses. Another golf course bites the dusk.
