Knoxville Golf Course

This is a fun course to play and the fact the they allow juniors to play at no cost is fantastic. We have played here multiple times over the last couple of months. We play early and generally we have a great time. Course is in good shape. I wish people would repair ball marks on the greens. Staff are always extremely nice. The only issue I have is the pace of play at times and the fact that there is no ranger. It seems like several of the groups are playing for tons of money or simply do not know golf etiquette. A four and a half round when you are maybe the fifth group out is ridiculous.

The next group after me had a tee time 40 mins after me and caught me. I was playing alone. Pace of play insanely bad. I want a refund. I didn’t get to finish.

This course used to be nice. The price used to match the type of course but not anymore. The fairways are not maintained. There are dirt patches everywhere. The tee boxes are sand boxes. What happened municipal?

Course is really shaping up . Greens were in great condition. Fairways growing in . Pace of play excellent. I really like this course

Most of our challenges had nothing to do with the staff. The course was almost swampy because of a lot of recent rain. Fairways were great, greens were great. Could have used a bit more mowing and TLC just off the fairways. If you don't know the course, there are a lot of hidden brushy areas that swallow balls beyond any hope of finding.

Fairways are good and clean. Greens all but 1 are in great shape. Couple tee boxes are horrible but other than that you can’t beat it for the money

It’s a tough course, but conditions were wet, and need some mowing and reseeding. The pace was very slow and we had to wait on every hole.

Greens are in pretty good shape. Not much grass on the fairways. Really like the layout..

Rough tee boxes, patches of grass in fairway, and a general lack of weed control throughout the course take the ratings down. I would not play again until they clean up the conditions. Nice staff in the pro shop, but there is a very disgruntled older man mowing that works there that hollered at us for not being on the cart path...(no sign posted so we didn't know it was cart path only)....Play elsewhere unless you don't have any other options...

The guys in the pro shop were nice. The course is in bad shape. There is little grass and lots of weeds. Tee boxes were pitiful with mostly dirt and no grass. The greens are the nicest part of the course that desperately needs attention. Was fun but we will not be back until conditions vastly improve.

Love. The course. . All it needs is grass in the fairways . Greens hadn’t filled in yet arated the greens. I’ll be back
