Novice Other Golfers
Course was in decent shape especially considering how dry it has been. My biggest complaint was the other golfers-the twosome ahead of us was a couple who shared one set of clubs, and ahead of them were two wild golfers who apparently had minimal golf experience violating basic golf etiquette. Ahead of them was a six-some whose primary purpose seemed to be drinking beer. It was a slow and someone dangerous round as golf balls were flying everywhere. There is no course marshal to enforce any basic rules. Recommend playing that course when they are not busy.

Go to course for the price. Great play fun course.

The course is in great shape
The golf course is in the best shape that I have seen it in. The parking lot was packed but the tee off times were organized so we did not wait long at each tee.
I look forward to playing here again.
Not bad
Not bad for the price. Pace of play is always pretty slow but that’s because it’s a low price course in town. Course is tough to play after the rain Bc drainage isn’t great but still overall good bang for your buck.
Poor staff and poor conditions
I normally try to avoid this course but was playing with a group this weekend and we decided to play here since it was close to all of us and a few of us were using our new East TN Golf Card. I have probably played this course five times over the last few years and this will be the last time I play here. Every single time, I have felt unwelcomed by the staff. They never seem happy to be there. I will say the woman running the concessions this weekend was friendly and welcoming, but that was the only exception.
The course is also in dire need of water. Weeds everywhere and the fairways are thin. The greens were also covered in samaras (helicopter leaves) and sand. The greens were dreadful. Several were unputtable. This course keeps going downhill more and more by the year, and it's just about unplayable at this point. Unfortunately, it is a city course so I doubt much will be done.
