The course is in great shape
The golf course is in the best shape that I have seen it in. The parking lot was packed but the tee off times were organized so we did not wait long at each tee.
I look forward to playing here again.
Not bad
Not bad for the price. Pace of play is always pretty slow but that’s because it’s a low price course in town. Course is tough to play after the rain Bc drainage isn’t great but still overall good bang for your buck.
Poor staff and poor conditions
I normally try to avoid this course but was playing with a group this weekend and we decided to play here since it was close to all of us and a few of us were using our new East TN Golf Card. I have probably played this course five times over the last few years and this will be the last time I play here. Every single time, I have felt unwelcomed by the staff. They never seem happy to be there. I will say the woman running the concessions this weekend was friendly and welcoming, but that was the only exception.
The course is also in dire need of water. Weeds everywhere and the fairways are thin. The greens were also covered in samaras (helicopter leaves) and sand. The greens were dreadful. Several were unputtable. This course keeps going downhill more and more by the year, and it's just about unplayable at this point. Unfortunately, it is a city course so I doubt much will be done.
Course will not honor tee times that were booked for a single player
Poorly managed and terribly slow
We have played this course on multiple occasions, and we are always behind slow groups. They never have rangers to push and you can easily play a 5-6 hour round behind non-golfers.
Knoxville Municipal
Good golf course.
There are no bunkers on this course. However, there are some really thick ruffs and the course has some slopes. The greens look flat, but many are sloped ever so slightly. Overall good fun.

Fair price / Fair Conditions
Always enjoy supporting golf in Knoxville. It's been a hot Summer, and I am anxious for the Fall, especially to see course conditions turn around.
We are blessed with inexpensive golf and a variety of courses in the Knoxville Area. This course needs some turf improvements, but I enjoy the layout. Candidly, while this is a municipal course and our tax money helps support it, I would like to see it improved. It's a lot to expect all courses to be "perfect" when we aren't paying a lot at the counter. Always enjoy coming out, staff is nice - and its golf! Not sure how many non-municipal courses are surviving when the prices are low to play. Maybe if we pay a little more we can expect a little more....
