This course is in extremely poor condition.
The course needs some attention. You are more likely to find weeds or bare dirt in fairways than grass. The rough is sparse but generally the fescue covered more ground than in the fairways. I know this course is generally not that well maintained but it is poor even by their usual standard. The greens were brick hard. The firmest I have seen anywhere.
Great finishing hole.
Fun course to play for all levels. Very few out-of-bounds to have to contend with. Nice layout.
Course very lacking
The course is in need of serious work. The fairways are bare. Even at the reduced rates from GolfNow, it just is not worth the trip. The best part of the course was the wonderful staff working in the pro shop.
The course is in very rough shape
Granted, the greens had been aerated recently, but were still VERY rough, bumpy & hard. Fairways and around the greens had little to no grass, every lie was "tight" to say the least. In addition to these negatives, the greens are very small. These factors made the course virtually unplayable. Although we only paid $15 to play....I wish I'd stayed home and done yard work.
The course is in winter condition with the bermuda fairways dying out. The greens were in excellent condition.
Nice older course that is fun to play. The sloping fairways and greens, can make for an exciting and aggrevating experience. I enjoy playing this course several times a year. It is a fun day at a very reasonable price.
