Honest review
I never leave course reviews but i have also never experienced anything like this. I am currently on the 4th tee box waiting as i have on every tee box. I get to the course at 10:45 booked an 11:00 tee time on golf now, i told the guy in the pro shop I have a tee time at 11:00, he give a half hearted laugh and says doesent matter you can go when we ger a cart. They had run out of carts so I didnt get to tee off until 11:15. And have proceeded to wait 10 minutes on every single shot. The course itself is in great condition greens are a little slow but are well maintained and look awesome, fairways are in good shape. Just dont book on golf now if you play call the course and maybe you will have better luck.
Well maintained
This was a very well maintained course but the lack of scheduling tee times made it very backed up. We sat for 30 minutes waiting at the first tee in a line of 6 groups that got longer behind us. This course could use some Breyer scheduling to make play more time efficient and less crowded.
Nice Course, Great Views
We really enjoyed our round of golf at Lambert Acres. The course was in really good shape. A few minor critiques: several tee boxes had extremely hard ground. It was so hard, it was very difficult to get a tee in the ground.. my only other critique would be better signage on the course. Signs indicating what hole you’re playing, distance, par, layout etc. Also, signs directing you to the next hole.
Thoroughly Enjoyed.
This is a great course for both the experienced played and the novice. Great layout, friendly staff, and overall just a great experience!
Proceed with Caution
The course is ok but it’s overpriced and the staff is rude. I have heard horror stories from over a dozen people about this place. Owners cussing golfers out, not giving people proper rain checks, and other things that would take 3 hours to write. I’ve had positive interactions with the young people who work out there (20 and below) but the old head who works out there in the mornings is the absolute worst. Super rude, never smiles, and ruins the mood before you ever even tee off. After years of playing here, I will not be back. All LA cares about is money!
Great day at lambert!
Course was in great shape! Pace was good as we played 27 holes in 5 hours! Amazing at the business this course gets earl in the morning.
Staff, friendly as always
Slight mix-up regarding the cost for a "9-hole rate" and 18 holes. Golf Now needs to fix this in their app. No way to sign up for 18 holes. Embarrassing to members.
Starter was awesome, gave us the rate quoted by Golf Now, but said next time, he would charge us the actual 18 hole rate. Come on Golf Now!! I will book directly with the course until this is fixed.
Greens in great shape. Pace of play always a bit slow, but the course is popular and there were many players, so really not an issue. Had a good time with my sons.
Disappointed
My expectation was too high for this course based on social media photos. We had to wait 5-10 minutes on each hole to hit. Because of slow pace of play and hidden greens due to hills, we often had to drive ahead to top of hills to check for clearance. On one hole, two balls landed on our green from another hidden tee when my group was putting.
First time
First time here. Staff is friendly. They take tee times but take walkins too. Pace of play can be slow. Tee boxes are mostly flat. Fairways are in good condition. Greens are in good condition. This is a good course for beginners. Very forgiving. It is not Egwani Farms. But for the price it's pretty good. Will be back. Would recommend.
Lambert Acres
Course in excellent shape with beautiful views of the mountains.
