About
Sleepy Hollow Golf Course is the top municipal course in the state and it is also ranked as one of the top 20 in the nation. Overlooking the Cuyahoga River Valley, the course is known for its scenery almost as much as its challenging layout. It has a traditional design with a classic "out-and-in" routing, with the incoming holes playing uphill into the wind, making them seem much longer than the indicated yardage. Golfers might be taken aback by the punishing nature of the golf course. There are 58 bunkers strategically placed around the tough greens, which comprise the main challenges of the course. Get ready to be quickly introduced to the Sleepy Hollow Golf Course's formidability with the lengthy second hole, a par 3 that will test even the longest hitters.

The stategy
Beware of fast undulating greens. Listen to starter at least.
Beautiful Course
Highly recommended course for anyone in the CLE area. Immaculate greens and fairways, not too difficult but enough challenging holes to make it fun. Beautiful scenery and woods surrounding most holes. Well kept and well designed.
Still premiere public course in NE Ohio
Course was in outstanding shape, only downside today were the greens were not their normal speedy selves. Love the course the price from teeoff was amazing and can't wait to play again.
Revenge is Mine!
Brother in Law from Toledo shot even par on the back nine at Manakiki yesterday. Not so today. Handed him his hat @ Sleepy. Greens fast and true. Conditions excellent. Showed him 2 of the nicest Metro Park courses.
He was impressed.
Great Course - Pace of Play Not Great
This was my first time playing Sleepy Hollow and it lived up to its name as the greens were fast and tough.
The round was going well until the 15th hole where there were 2+ groups stacked up waiting to tee off. The wait became so long that our group ended up just messing around the last 3 holes. Would have really liked to finish the course on a serious note but the pace was just too slow.
Would most definitely play again. Would just hope the pace of play is adequate next time.
Everything was excellent
Course was in great shape. Fast and difficult greens.
Tell your customers
Overall, nice layout risk/reward golf course. However, when you guys lay sand on every green and don’t tell customers before they tee off, that is beyond unacceptable. Ruined putting and hitting shots into every green. Golf ball was covered with sand while putting. This is, in my experience, typical for a metro park course. These kind of events cause me to not come back and choose to play at other, honest places. A golf course is a business, try learning some customer service.
Fantastic!
Friends told me that Sleepy Hollow was the best of the Cle Metro Gokf Courses, and they were right. I played at 11:30 and went out by myself. It was a nice change from the previous days playing at crowded courses with waiting on each hole. Greens and fairways were great. Interesting layouts with hills and interesting undulation. Playing fast, I found the course fairly easy. Though people said it was hard. Since I drive down the middle, I didnt get it too much trouble. Though it was 30 miles away, I will definitely play it again when I come home to Cleveland.
