About
Grand Oaks Golf Club enjoys a peaceful, tranquil setting among century-old oak trees and an abundance of wildlife. The course is as challenging as it is scenic with tree-lined fairways and small greens that will test your accuracy. It may have a traditional design but there is still some bite to this round. There are several strategically placed bunkers that lurk greenside to challenge you even further. Two meandering creeks weave along the golf course as well, coming into play on a few holes. The layout has a nice mix of holes from reachable par 5s to tough par 3s. Grand Oaks Golf Club is a fair test that is player friendly enough to appeal to players of all skill levels. There are some birdie opportunities available if you play it smart and it's forgiving enough for high handicappers to approach with confidence.

Diamond in the rough
Challenging with crossing water on several holes, decent shape and improving. This course is a great bang for your buck.
Poor Managed Pairings
I don’t get to play golf often and when I do I don’t want to be paired with somebody I could careless about knowing. Frost conditions or not. Manage your pairing and timing better and you’ll have a much more enjoyable experience on your hands.

Meadowbrook Ft Worth
This course is in nice shape, especially for a municipal, The only criticism is the ponds, creeks and water run offs are full of garbage. Considering the rest of the course is pleasant, it is disheartening that the waterways have so much garbage in them.

Love this course
The greens are immaculate, the price is amazing. Wonderful course I drove from fort worth to play here semi regularly, the only improvement would be food at the clubhouse but last time I was there they said they were working on it.

Good 18 Holes
Played the course twice now. I like the layout. 5 par 5's, and 5 par 3's. Creek winds it way through the course that can sneak up on you. 2nd time had a better understanding of where to hit or not hit. Small but receptive greens. Though there was no rain the night before we played the course was wet. Clubhouse folks were very nice and helpful. Will play again I am sure.

Great course for sharpening skills
Last two major golf lessons have been followed by trips to Grand Oaks. The wide fairways on the front nine, small greens, and elevated greens on par 3s make the course ideal for learning and fine tuning your game.
par 4 Dog leg right on front nine, not sure of #, is drivable, and goes along a creek, that runs parallel to the next hole. Good two hole stretch.
Greens are small, bunkers are playable and one of the reasons I like this course, as so many are giving up the bunkers for grass traps or none at all.

Great course made even better w/ a "hot deal" price!
Overall course conditions were great. Fall leaves meant longer search for balls (even down the middle...) and so many leafs meant putts didn't always roll as intended, but that's fall/winter golf in Texas. Staff was super friendly as always even when our tee time (paid in advance thru the app) wasn't on their system.
We're gonna keep playing here as long as the weather permits so keep those "hot deals" coming!
P.S. our buddy shot his first eagle (17-par 5) during this round!!!

Nice little public course. If you can catch a deal on it, play. Thing I like best about this is course is the fairways aren’t lined with trees on both sides. Making us bad golfers tee shots look a little better.

The greens were recently aerated, so putting was not very good.

Not a bad course
Course is in nice shape with a great layout. My only issue is the greens. They are hard as a rock! A sand wedge from 80 yards should bite at least a little! If you have the bump and run game you should be good !

Fun with hidden dangers.
I enjoyed the course but you must be mindful of water hazards that can not be seen from the tee box or fairway. I look forward to playing the course again, thank you!
