About
Grand Oaks Golf Club enjoys a peaceful, tranquil setting among century-old oak trees and an abundance of wildlife. The course is as challenging as it is scenic with tree-lined fairways and small greens that will test your accuracy. It may have a traditional design but there is still some bite to this round. There are several strategically placed bunkers that lurk greenside to challenge you even further. Two meandering creeks weave along the golf course as well, coming into play on a few holes. The layout has a nice mix of holes from reachable par 5s to tough par 3s. Grand Oaks Golf Club is a fair test that is player friendly enough to appeal to players of all skill levels. There are some birdie opportunities available if you play it smart and it's forgiving enough for high handicappers to approach with confidence.

Horrible back 9
First and last time playing here. The front was good and enjoyed it. However the back 9 was the opposite. The best way to describe it is playing on a goat farm. The greens and parts of fairways were horrible. It’s not worth the money.
It rained hard and slowed everything down
The course was backed up because the back nine was closed. Course was in pretty good condition considering the rain that came through that morning. Some of the greens need some work.

Nice course
They are working on the back nine, so had to play the front twice, but they charged us less than half the regular price. The course is is pretty good shape, but there are some rough patches , probably from the hard freeze in February. Nice course for a novice player like me.

Looked much better than I’d read.
I had read a few horror reviews that were after the freeze, but I was pretty happy with the course condition. They’ve obviously done a lot of work to recover the greens, most were great, each one had one or two dead patches but not huge like some other courses I’ve seen.
Great layout, some tough holes sprinkled with some easy ones.

Well maintained course with great layout

Don't waste your money here
Greens are in bad shape. They allow sixsomes which slowed everything. Stinky Porta John. Paid way too much for horrible greens.

Always Enjoy Grand Oaks!
I play Grand Oaks regularly as it is close to my house, relatively easy to get a tee time and affordable. The staff is always great. The course has taken a bit of a beating due to weather, but I think it will continue to snap back. I find it to be a very fun course to play, a bit challenging due to some of the water, but still fun. Hopefully greens will be back in shape soon, Currently sand on many them. A couple of holes on the back nine need some TLC. I like Grand Oaks and will continue to be a regular.

Putting on the beach
It looks like they lost almost all of the greens from the storm in February terrible green conditions and this course does not drain water at all granted we have had a lot of rain but it was a swamp I would not pay $45 to play this ever again

Nothing ‘Grand’ about it.
This place should just be called ‘The Oaks’ definitely nothing ‘Grand’ about it. Parking lot is terrible, only out houses for restrooms, given a used score card and had someone’s molding drink inside my cart cooler. The greens were in bad shape and lots of trash around the course as well. This course is maybe worth $20, wouldn’t recommend it.
