About
Chippewa Golf Club in Doylestown sits just a few minutes south of Akron. It's one of the area's most popular public courses. Opened in 1962, the golf course has a traditional layout that sprawls across rolling hills. The undulating landscape provides a variety of elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. Accuracy is key since mature trees frame most of the holes and the massive, contoured greens also present a challenge. If you can keep it in the fairway, there are some great birdie opportunities on the par 5s. Overall, Chippewa Golf Club is player friendly enough for all skill levels to enjoy with the exception of the treacherous 14th, 15th, and 16th holes. This trio, nicknamed the "Bermuda Triangle," will test the putting skills of even the best golfers.

Great course
Excellent conditions and a beautiful piece of property. Forgiving rough and fast beautiful greens. Great day of golf.
Perenial favorite in Akron-Canton area.
popular course , well run. very popular for leagues usually with a full tee sheet. Great value. elevation changes. Interesting and good design. fair course. Challenging. In very good shape. Fun.
Great Course
Chippewa is one of my favorite courses. It’s always immaculate and well kept. Fairways are well manicured, tee boxes are very well kept, greens are just perfect. A great track for an intermediate or better golfer. Shot a nice round of 76.
Great Course
Played late fall on one of the last warm days of the year.. Leaves were well under control, course was still looking great. Greens played well, just ran out of daylight. Pace of play was very acceptable even on a busy day.
Excellent Fall Condition
This course is in amazing shape for mid November. It was cold and following a rain and wind storm over the last couple days and the course was just in excellent shape.
Challenging course, beautiful layout.
Tough greens, well taken care of. The long tees will test your game.

Chippewa Fall Pricing
Played a round in Oct and can't believe they were charging $60 and the rangers do nothing to improve pace of play. The course is nice but barley worth the $60 price in the middle of summer but $60 in October is ridiculous
Love the amen corner. Greens were in great shape and consistent but a little slower than previous years.

Wow- first time playing here, exceeded expectations! Highly recommend, beautfiul layout and atmosphere. Will play again for sure, well worth the $$.
