Chippewa Golf Club
About
Chippewa Golf Club in Doylestown sits just a few minutes south of Akron. It's one of the area's most popular public courses. Opened in 1962, the golf course has a traditional layout that sprawls across rolling hills. The undulating landscape provides a variety of elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. Accuracy is key since mature trees frame most of the holes and the massive, contoured greens also present a challenge. If you can keep it in the fairway, there are some great birdie opportunities on the par 5s. Overall, Chippewa Golf Club is player friendly enough for all skill levels to enjoy with the exception of the treacherous 14th, 15th, and 16th holes. This trio, nicknamed the "Bermuda Triangle," will test the putting skills of even the best golfers.

The best
This is one of the best courses I’ve ever played I play it 5 times a year and it never disappoints i highly recommend it
Great Conditions
Course Played great. Was in really good condition.
The rough was a little shorter than we are used to seeing, but was deceptively tough to get out of.15,16,17 really is the Bermuda Triangle.
Beautifully maintained course
Moderately busy for a weekday morning. Pace was just a little slow at times. Course is impeccably manicured. Back 9 is more difficult. A little pricier than other courses, but you get what you pay for. Carts have the latest technology and the most plush seats we've ever experienced. Staff are all very friendly. Nice club house with amenities.
One of best in area
Conditions, price (with golfnow), carts are AMAZING, and course is gorgeous. Highly recommend
A beautiful day at a great golf course.
The course was in very good shape, but could use some water (rain) to soften the greens.
Nice course
Why they would let two different 5 somes out on a Sunday to slow down the pace of play is unknown
Good layout, challenging but not super difficult.
Always enjoy playing this course, regardless of my putting. Friendly staff., easygoing atmosphere. Will definitely be back!
For early in the season, I couldn't imagine other courses being as well kept. The greens were actually bouncing balls and leaving no divots on approach shots, like it was summertime. Drove an hour to get there and would do so again tomorrow. Only bad thing is the pace and it wasn't that bad. Fun to play!
Two Courses
Front nine was gettable. Back nine with the Devil’s Triangle was very challenging. A good test and fun to play.
