About
Chippewa Golf Club in Doylestown sits just a few minutes south of Akron. It's one of the area's most popular public courses. Opened in 1962, the golf course has a traditional layout that sprawls across rolling hills. The undulating landscape provides a variety of elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. Accuracy is key since mature trees frame most of the holes and the massive, contoured greens also present a challenge. If you can keep it in the fairway, there are some great birdie opportunities on the par 5s. Overall, Chippewa Golf Club is player friendly enough for all skill levels to enjoy with the exception of the treacherous 14th, 15th, and 16th holes. This trio, nicknamed the "Bermuda Triangle," will test the putting skills of even the best golfers.

My New Favorite Course
This is my new favorite course. Course is in excellent condition and not to long or difficult, but challenging. Carts are in excellent condition with GPS. A fun course to play.
Improving always
Course always seems to improve something and keeps everything well maintained.
Tough course we'll maintained
Everything was perfect, just got stuck behind a foursome that was playing a scramble at the slowest pace I've ever seen a scramble played. That was the only negative as far as amenities and the course itself it was perfect. Kind staff, great golf carts with Gps and Bluetooth, they also have those scooters and a pull cart for walkers that follows you on its own of you decide to walk. They definitely are up to date on technology..
My new favorite course
My new favorite golf course. Beautiful course very well maintained. Large greens and wide open fairways. Nice clubhouse with food, golf equipment and KENO. Golf carts are electric and GPS equipped.
In great shape
The greens, mown areas around the greens, and fairways were in great condition. The layout of the course makes it fun to play.
Best course in Ohio
This has to be top 3 public courses in Ohio. Only problem is the driving range is right next to the 3rd hole and there is literally 100 balls on the fairway.

Beautiful
Paired with 3 fun golf lovers. Beautiful day, beautiful weather, amazingly fun and fair course. Tee boxes, fairways, and greens were expertly kept. I'm looking forward to my next outing.
Great course, but packed
Course was in excellent condition. It took us nearly 3 hours to play 9 though because the course was packed
