Chippewa Golf Club

About
Chippewa Golf Club in Doylestown sits just a few minutes south of Akron. It's one of the area's most popular public courses. Opened in 1962, the golf course has a traditional layout that sprawls across rolling hills. The undulating landscape provides a variety of elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. Accuracy is key since mature trees frame most of the holes and the massive, contoured greens also present a challenge. If you can keep it in the fairway, there are some great birdie opportunities on the par 5s. Overall, Chippewa Golf Club is player friendly enough for all skill levels to enjoy with the exception of the treacherous 14th, 15th, and 16th holes. This trio, nicknamed the "Bermuda Triangle," will test the putting skills of even the best golfers.

If u haven’t played here what are u waiting for.I
I think this course is a5 Star rating .It’s one of my favorite courses to play at.
Chips down , pick Chippewa
Cource is always in great shape, they are always working to make it better, and it’s reasonable priced
A must play in NE Ohio
One of the finest public tracks in the Akron- Cleveland area. Greens are in terrific shape. Speed of greens are quick for a public track. Some greens have false fronts and are unjulating with breaks that can be hard to see. Pick your line and trust it.
This is a course where the par 4's rule. The par 5's are very gettable.
Your scoring will occur on the front. Then comes the back where hitting certain areas of the green are crucial to scoring. Holes 14-16 are called things like "Devil's Triangle" "Amen Corner" and "The Gauntlet" among other descriptions I am not allowed in this post to repeat.
All and all enjoy this little piece of property with uneven lies some elevation changes and a few blind shots in the middle of rolling farm land.
Country club like fairways!
Excellent overall public course...smooth greens, raked traps, and the fairways...WOW! Without question THE best fairways of any public golf course! Watch out for the triangle on the back nine (14-16) as pin placements could leave you 3-4 putting. Love the new patio addition to the front of the clubhouse too! The slight ding I have on conditions would be some of the tee boxes are burning up and tons of divots on them. Overall a five-star must play!
Solid B+ layout and condition
This scenic and well maintained course features several signature holes that bring water and/or steep elevation changes, tight fairways, into play. Practice putting green and driving range are conveniently near remodeled clubhouse and big tent. Excellent venue for golf outing.
wish it was closer!
I really like the course,it is always kept up . Not too flat and the greens roll nice. I would make it my home course if it was a little closer to my house.
