About
Pleasant Valley Golf Club sits just south of Dulles airport, but the expansive layout, which is absent of homes, feels much more secluded. The parkland layout tumbles across a diverse landscape of rolling hills and grassy meadows covered with hardwood forests. There is plenty of diversity throughout the golf course with some holes that are bunker-less contrasting with the links holes that have Scottish-style bunkers. One of the most memorable holes is the par-5 fifth. After an uphill tee shot with a bunker on the right and a waste area on the left the second shot presents multiple choices. To the left you could take a risk with trees and a bunker but you could possibly be rewarded with a better angle for the third shot while the right side option will require a third shot over a large bunker to reach the green.

Good course for the price !
Fairway and green condition is much better this year than before. Hope they keep up the good work.
5 Hour Round
Nice layout but conditions are not the best. Cart paths in desperate need of repair. Golf carts are not much better. The 2 carts in our foursome had no locking brakes so we had to be careful where we parked. The most irritating issue was that the foursome in front of us fell behind pace by 3 holes and allowed no one to play through. There wasn't any marshal to push them along so the result was a 5 hour round. For Again $69 weekday round there are better options out there.
Fun Layout
Fun layout with a good variety of holes. Good mix of long and short par 3's and 4's. Greens are interesting with lots of breaking putts. Cart paths are in serious need of repair from 1st through the 18th hole. Both carts in our group had brakes that would not lock properly. Biggest issue was that the group in front of us was allowed to fall 3 holes behind the group in front of them. Where are the marshals. Seems that a weekday 5 hour round is par for the course at this layout. We won't be booking here again any time soon as a result.

Only complaint was it was cart path only... easily should have been 90 degrees!!!!!!!!!
Nice, well-kept and forgiving course
Course was well-kept and staff was very friendly. Driving range was also nice and convenient. Fun course with good conditions and no rushed pace of play. Overall a great course for the price.
Best shape I've seen this course in in a while.
Course is in good shape. The tee boxes are better than they had been (they have grass now. Greens were a little fuzzy, but not bad. Fairways are great and rough is thick. As always, a good layout with a mix of quirky, challenging holes.
Not. Worth it
Played 5 pm on a weekday was told no twilight rate. Course was in rough shape. Cart paths were almost not drivable due to cracks. Rough was extremely long and unkept. Greens very slow. Not worth paying full price for!
Very Nice Layout. Poor Greens.
Very nice layout but condition of greens is bad -- just like last year, and the year before. Same dead areas on multiple greens -- no seed, no nothing by the course to fix. Considering the prices, you would expect better conditions.
