Burke Lake Course
Course us good for the money. All of the holes are pretty kuch a straight shot (no dog legs). Holes are short and lots of geese. Its a walking course so no driving golf carts. Lots of shade and great prrice

It might meet your expectations but it certainly won't exceed them
It's a county run par 3, so at the end of the day it's almost unfair to be too critical. That said, the course is in pretty rough shape. Bare patches on every hole. The greens are choppy and there is goose poop everywhere. I don't expect to find scratch golfers out there, but it seems like every time I'm there I'm surrounded by people who can't play and don't know how to play. During this round it took 2.5 hours to play 9 holes. People need to learn to PLAY BAD FAST!

Awesome little course!
I love playing at Burke lake. The course is a fun and established little layout. Great driving range and practice area.
Tee boxes need a LOT of TLC. But greens were in decent shape

Don't Bother With Burke Lake
The place is not a fancy course by any stretch. But the place is in bad shape, including quite a few of the greens. It does not look like the course bothered to seed last year as the tee boxes look like someone’s bad backyard. Fairfax Co. has several other courses that are in much better shape and don’t have an unacceptable number of geese fouling up the course. Their numbers need to be culled by huge numbers. Not only is it gross to play around that much goose crap but it eventually flows into Burke Lake. So much for being environmentally conscious. That said, it has a good practice area (lovely putting green) and a good range. Too bad the course is such a mess. Yes it’s cheap to play there but it’s not worth it..

Great public course
Nicely laid out course for a 3 par. No expensive for a easy round of golf.

Solid option for the price
First time playing this course and it’s a nice little 18 hole par 3. Some pretty short holes with some longer par 3s mixed in. My biggest gripe would be the conditions of the tee boxes. They were kind of rough, but I understand it’s the winter season and grass doesn’t really grow in the cold. Half of the greens were in good shape and the other half were similar to the tee boxes. Seems like a heavily used public course, a lot of divots in the green that hadn’t been well taken care of. But overall, for the price I can’t complain and will come back again

Must visit for Iron play.
Great par 3 Executive course. The fairways, greens and tee box were in excellent condition! The grounds were well maintained and leaves were at a minimum. They were even working to remove leaves and debris while I was there early that morning. Staff was very friendly and attentive.
