Best around!
I consider this my home course. It is the best ,in my opinion, in the area. Good variety of holes , very senic. Good conditioning almost all of the time. Many players staying at a nearby resort end up playing here. 27 holes now (used to be 36) means lots of room. Hope they can keep it up!

Great Course
First let me say I’m a first year golfer at 71 years old so I don’t have a lot of experience to base my review on. I played the Mt View 9 & the Lakeview 9. I found both to be pretty challenging for my very limited golf skills. I told the staff members that I was a new golfer and they could not have been nicer to me in explaining everything & making me feel welcome.
I highly recommended Lakeview and will be going back soon I hope.

A top quality course.
Lakeview is a favorite course. Friendly staff, great smelling grill, beautiful course, and 27 holes to use. We loved the Lakeview front 9 followed by the Mountain 9. Totally, excellent.

My dad and I just played this course and loved it! I must the mountain 9 offered some amazing views. We will definitely play this again!

A relaxing time with little trouble no surprises
If you just want to hit and chase, this is your course. Lots of driver / wedge holes and everything was pretty much right in front of you. I had the first tee time and was done in 2 hrs.

Great as always
I have played Lakeview for 30 years. It just keeps getting better. This day the Mountain 9 had not been mowed but it is so beautiful that it did not matter! Greens were great. Very good value! They have 3 9 hole courses so usually lots of room. The best course for 50 miles!

Great course, great value
Played this course 18 holes first day and came back for 36 the next day. The 3 nine layout gives variety and the courses were all in great shape. Greens were very fast, fastest in the area. Staff very accommodating and helpful. We were staying nearby at Massanutten and found Lakeview to be an excellent value. We will definitely play here on our next visit.

Good course but long
Good layout, nice staff, some very scenic holes on the Peak course. Challenging for me as the ladies tees were often on the same tee box as the whites and some holes are long. Pace of play was great especially for a Sunday morning.

Nice course facilities outdated
The course is nice and the layout great. There is one bathroom for both men and women. The main complaint is for 4 holes a lawnmower was in the fairway. We would wait for him to move he would stop and wait. Not only do you get an audience but you risk losing your ball to the mower. For four holes. Not to mention we rolled up to our tee box 5 minutes early instantly had someone behind use. We let them play through and had 6 more carts behind us so the scheduling is horrendous.

Best in the Value
WOW! This course is in beautiful shape with some gorgeous views. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They had a large tournament going on when I played, but were extremely accommodating, friendly, and communicative. What blew me away more than anything was their Legends Bar and Grill. Fresh meat for their burgers and CHEAP GOOD beer! My wife had the BBQ sandwich which they make in house and it was phenomenal!
