Longest Hole/Waterfall at Meadows Farms Golf Course

This round comes after not playing the course in the past few years. The layout is interesting and the fairways and greens were in good shape. However some of the tee boxes were less than impressive. And there appears to be a lack of commitment on keeping some of the holes in shape. For example the Waterfall hole lacked the appearance it had in the past and the Baseball hole has lost all its luster with the signs in the backdrop especially. But overall, the course was a fun place to play.

This course is awesome easy to navigate for new golfers. Great for golfers who lose a ton of balls as well not much woods on this course but they make up for it with the amount of hills! Overall a awesome course with two awesome options, waterfall 9 holes was cool and the warm up practice on the island is great to get you warmed up before starting your 18 holes. Definitely check it out!

I've been to meadows farms quite a few times...as always, the course is well maintained and staff is really friendly. If you're trying to decide which 9 to play, I recommend island and waterfall. The challenges are awesome and very fun to play. Go out there and have fun.

Course is in great shape, fairways, rough and greens. The teeing ground, however, is less than great on many holes. Friendly staff, good carts, and nice pace of play.

Used to be a bit confusing working your way around the three nines with intersecting cart paths but they have painted brightly colored arrows now on the cart paths at key locations directing you to the next tee box for the nine-hole course you are playing. Easy to navigate.

The sand bunkers seemed better than they used to be with more uniform sand texture and depth.

I had lots of fun with the other three players I was paired with by the starter.

You can see the new owners are putting money back into the course. The course was in great shape.....

Course conditions were above average. There were some rough spots on the fairway but it will not mess up your play. The greens are quite fast when playing down hill or from the fringe. Tee boxes were good. The one thing you will be frustrated by is the rough. It is about 3 in deep and you can easily lose your ball so be leery of that. Otherwise 0 complaints and you get your value. Some of the friendliest staff too. New management is doing an A+ job

The course was in very good condition, but the rough was a little overgrown. It's very easy to loose balls in the rough just off the fairway. The course is maturing very well, the fairways are still a little overgrown in places. Still, it's in better shape than what I've seen in the last 3 years. Old management really let it go to the DOGS. " KUDOS" to the new management. I love your military rates, don't change, lots of military in the area that are looking for something more economical. I'll bring Wounded Warriors on my next trip.

The course is in pretty good shape. Greens and tee boxes are good but the fairways need some attention as some weeds are beginning to take hold.

Meadows is one of my favorite local courses. I will continue to play there.

Enjoyed a great pace of play, and it was very wallet friendly also. Only down side to the deal was that the greens had been aerated then not filled with sand. Still a great deal. I will definitely be back to playwhen the greens hhave filled in.

Always a fun time at MF. Funny watching the ball land on ice instead of in the water. Definitely saved a few strokes but that's the advantage of golfing on a warm winter's day.

With it's great bermuda fairways and challenging rolling hills, this course is fun to play again and again. It's certainly my favorite course in the area. It has cheerful staff, an inviting clubhouse, and a great variety of difficulty throughout its 3 different 9 hole layouts (plus a warmup hole on the island nine). You simply can't beat it for the price and i feel a need to mention that the food there is pretty good too. All in all I've never had a bad experience there and I can't wait to play it again!

Frost delay and wind tried to ruin the day but the sun came out and everything improved. Green and tee boxes good. Staff great as always. New owners working hard at repairs and improvements and new PGA pro doing the same.

Well worth the price. New owners have been working hard to upgrade course.

Course well taken care of. Very fast greens. Only problem I saw was the starter was doing a poor job of getting people out. Course has three nines and all were being used. We teed off 15 minutes after our scheduled tee time. Backed us up behind a slow foursome when other nines were open. Once they let us thru we played at a nice pace.

Nice, forgiving, friendly and a great value. Large greens, Fun to play.

Was very surprised at the openness of the course. Especially after driving through acres of woodlands to get there in the heart of Civil War Battlefields. Course has many scenic views, i.e. Waterfall Hole, Civil War Hospital, old family cemetery, baseball par3 hole. Starter was very friendly, but 19th hole staff were preparing for a wedding and had little time for golfers. Three 9-hole courses to choose from. Did not play the Long Course which is known for its Par 6 hole claimed the "Longest in the USA". Fully enjoyed our round, not too difficult except for the littering of leaves to sort through for your ball. Will definitely play this one several times again.

I took my wife with me just to get out of the house as she plays golf about 2-3 times per year. Its a fun layout and entertaining to play. Not necessarily very challenging, so if you're looking for a challenge you may be disappointed. If you just want to have a fun golf outing, I highly recommend this golf course.

When I booked the round, I did not notice that the greens had just been aerated. They were just okay. The course was in very good condition except the greens and the the wood pilings that existed on many holes. They were out of position and pointing in many different directions. This needs to be corrected.
I played the Island and Waterfall nines. The greens were very undulating, particularly the Waterfall nine. This course is showing its age and needs some work. Having said that, the grassy areas were nice with few bare spots. The fairways provided beautiful spongy lies that allowed the club to pick the ball easily. With some cosmetic work, this could really be a beautiful course.
The practice hole on the Island nine was a nice touch. I played well and brought my handicap down. This is a course with many different looks and various length holes. we had a very good day.

If you don't like crowds, this is the place to golf!
If you like a carpet like fairways, this is the place to golf!
If you like waterfalls, wildlife, and history this is the place to golf!
Everybody and I mean everybody went out of their way to be helpful and friendly!
These are just some of the reasons I return as often as possible!
