Nice course and atmosphere
Great course hidden within a friendly community. Not a lot of amenities, but the course plays well and is well maintained.
Lovely Course
What a beautiful time. Never knew about this place. I'm glad it is accessible to commoners now!!
Great condition
First time playing here. The course was in great shape. Much better than any where else I've played recently. Greens were perfect. Fairways and rough were filling in nicely. Bunkers were in great shape.
Fun Track
Good old school golf course! The course is in good shape and will be fantastic when the Bermuda pops!
Fun Track
If you have the opportunity to play Meadowbrook CC Take it! This is a good old school country club. The layout is fun and fair for the average golfer. Once the Bermuda pops it will be fantastic!
A favorite of mine
After playing this for a 4th time, these are my favorite greens. Subtle undulations and tricky reads. Fairways are good, a little drier than I expected, but everything else is worth the money. Old school course, just isn’t busy like a municipal course.
I am close to joining this club.
Go check it out.
Cheers
Old school Virginia golf course...
Great hidden gem for golfers now able to play a nice club course. Tight fairways, small to medium sized greens, nice layout. Greens were fast and true, fairways have dormant bermuda, and rough was cut down a little. Can't wait to play it in the summer when the fairways come in. If you want to play a fair challenging track this is a nice place to play. Be mindful that it is a private club - we were their guests. Members were friendly and play was fast.
Great conditions for January
Played Meadowbrook CC for the first time. All dormant bermuda, but plenty of it - not thin and patchy. Greens were, largely, in good shape - a few bare patches mostly around the edges. Nice, old-fashioned layout. Very playable and easily walkable. The $60 for out-of-season is my biggest knock against it. A little too pricey.
No rushing, good layout at private club
Nice when they offer tee times to the public, worth playing and close to downtown
Fun Course
the staff was super helpful. the course gets more challenging on the back nine. tree lines aren’t too bunched. it’s a good course to not lose too many balls. well maintained. no weeds anywhere. i look forward to playing again.
Old school course
Fully private club that let me come out and see it. Layout is good and you have lots of shot shaping opportunities. I hope seeing these member for a day tee times means they are considering semi private going forward.
Attendants are all very welcoming and friendly. Even if they weren’t the course is worth seeing.
Cheers
