Rid Wing
This was a very good course for the money. Challenging but fun. The course was in good shape with a little bit of damage on a few greens. It did not interfere with the play. Really enjoyed playing there.
Easy, fun course
The course is good for your money. There are some greens that we're in pretty rough shape with a lot of dead spots and pitch marks left I repaired. Overall, a great layout that is not overly challenging for your average golfer. If you are a great golfer, the course is arguably too easy. The pace of play was a bit slow, even though it was early morning. If it remained the same, the afternoon would be dreadful.
Good Shape
The course was in Good shape. One of the greens was in bad shape but I'm sure they are working on fixing it and the rest where slow and a bit buzie but didn't prevent us from having a good round. Definitely will play it again before it get colder. Keep up the great work to the staff!
Golf after hurricane Ian
I was amazed with how free of debris the course was after Hurricane Ian. There were a few areas of standing water in the fairways and some of the bunkers had water in them. Shocking thing was is was not cart path only. There were several greens with patchy areas on them. Overall it was a very pleasant weather day with almost no waiting to play. I'll be back.
Not good golf etiquette
Overall I enjoyed my round at Red Wing yesterday. However we were behind a group of five in front of us from the third hole on and they never let us play Beyond them. It's not good golf etiquette to have a group of five out first of all and then the three of us having to wait every hole for the group of five wasn't good etiquette either. Otherwise the price was great and the round went fairly well despite the windy conditions
Was hoping for better
Had a little problem checking in as he couldn't find my tee off reservation. Concerned about this because of another time here on Thursday. Pace of play was rather slow and some of the greens weren't in very good condition.
Losing greens to saltwater
Course is in good shape. However, two greens are suffering from saltwater intrusion and it is becoming an issue in too many places in the southern VB course (Hel's Point comes to mind).
Still recommend this course for play and value.

Overall good condition
Tee boxes and fairways are in the best condition I’ve seen in years. Greens pretty good except 14 which is horrible. Overall great to play!
Good Value
Average course, good value. Greens need some love, but they are playable.
Redwing
This course has a very nice design layout . It’s a fun but challenging course that most skill levels will enjoy playing. Only negative to mention are the Greens, which are playable but not in the best shape, otherwise it’s an enjoyable round of golf.
