Just ok
Tee boxes were in rough shape, the rest was good, greens were nice. For the money, go

Such a fun course, and a great price.
Kind of has a Jack Nicholas feel to it, and they bought a great views.
Totally recommend.
Best round
This was my third time playing this course due to distance from my residence. However, we’ll worth the hour drive. I set a personal best score today so I’m stoked.
The has many wet areas
The slow play made it impossible to finish the rounds, no excuse except poor course oversight.

Best Virgina Beach Public golf course
Friendly staff and great course makes for pleasant day with friends playing golf.
Puddles
Decent public course. Not the best maintained. Random Puddles on the green vs the lakes that are supposed to be there. Leafs and sticks all over , in the fall. Expect a little more for 47 dollars a person 18 holes

Good value
Attractive course, pretty well maintained, very reasonable cost. Pace of play slow today. Our threesome was consistently waiting for the twosome in front of us — and I am a 27 handicap and my wife is a 37. We still finished 4:25 (but my wife and I played there in 3:40 on 10/6).
Colin and crew are doing great!
Given the heat and heavy rains this summer, Colin and his team have done a great job keeping the course in the best condition possible. There are some serious drainage issues, especially on Hole #3, that need to be corrected as soon as possible.
Fun Course
Very fun course. Wide open but also challenging. It was in amazing shape.
Friendly Course for Locals and Visitors
Red Wing Lake Golf Course is conveniently located to the Virginia Beach boardwalk and Naval Air Station Oceana. The staff are friendly and the course is challenging.
Good public course
Well maintained public course. Excellent value for money. Major drainage issues after heavy rains, due to Navy dams beyond their control. Comfortable for all levels of player. Will deffinately play again.
Very friendly and professional staff, attentive to our needs. Had groups spread out enough so pace of play was great. I am an average weekend hacker so this layout is challenging but not too tough so it keeps me coming back. Thank you.
