Very early in the season but greens and fairway in excellent condition!!

Great public course
Course was in good condition for this early in the season. Greens were true. Fringe not so good yet. Sand traps were drained and not muddy.
A very enjoyable round
Was vacationing in area and played Red Wing Lake for the first time yesterday. Course conditions were very good considering time of year, staff was very helpful and courteous, and the course itself was enjoyable with a challenging yet very fair layout. Highly recommend.

Another great time at Red Wing
My group and I love Red Wing Lake. We play every time we are in Virginia Beach. The course was in good shape considering the time of year. I will be back in April and look forward to playing again.

Great course
Great course, friendly staff, good pace of play. Highly recommend.
Good course, but don’t play after rain
Staff were really friendly and the course layout was pretty good, but the course conditions were iffy. Greens were pretty good, but the fairways and cart path were incredibly muddy and wet - on just about every hole there was standing water on the cart path. I would play here again if it hasn’t rained within the previous 5 days or the drainage gets revamped
Great facilities and course, poor condition
For being a public course, it offered quality practice facilities, however the range was a little wet and there wasn’t much grass to offer. The greens rolled very smooth and looked very pure, however they were quite slow. I would definitely recommend going to redwing if you are looking for a relaxing and easy practice. The prices are very affordable. It was nice knowing you could easily access the range and anyone can use it.

She is polite, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful getting player moving at good pace.
Hard fairways
Nice layout and staff was friendly. Fairways and Tee boxes were very hard, seemed like it had not been watered in while.
